I knew that Syndnet funnelweb spider guy was going to jump out. We used to call that huntsman spider Desert Uglies when I was stationed in Vegas in the early 80's. They were aggressive as heck! Would run at you from 20 feet away. We used to put them up against scorpions and they did pretty well (I was a young Airman at the time and would not do that now).

I'm aussie and funnel webs are an instant nope for me, as soon as you said the words, instant chills from head to toe, then it jumping out of the container, NOPE. NOPE. Respect for venomous animals is always good to have. It's just the unhealthy fear that isn't beneficial. When it comes to most spiders though, fear just isn't warranted. They just want to be left alone and get food, have babies and... well that's about it.

Love your videos, love the arachnids, bet you’ve got an amazing collection. Concerning your recent disc issues, I have a genetic bone disease that destroys the intervertebral discs as well as the spinal bone structure itself. Had 11 surgeries in 5 years, but am sort of stabilized now. Well worth it, but I certainly know the pain and lifestyle changes that these problems cause. Keep on making content and “bug on”! 🇨🇦🖖🏻🇨🇦
