Hi Stephen. Brilliant shots. Well done Frank. Had to go to the Magistrates court a few years ago. Then it all got moved to Preston which was a pain. I was a witness in 2 cases. Be glad to see the back of it though intrigued what will be built on the site. Cheers Thea x

Stephen I started work in 1982 at the gas board on Princess Street. Used to get off the 22 outside C&A and walk thru the car park past that monstrosity. It needed knocking down in 82 finally happening 40 years later.

Hi Jay, hope you are having a good week. I've told Stephen that I'm going to start charging him for using my "beacon of hope" expression. 😂 I said it to him last year after he had been to the Brunswick area. It was such a depressing street, but the Tower was illuminated in the distance, and I said it's like a beacon of hope. I think £100 for each time he says it sounds very reasonable 😂😂 Take care xxx

Hi Stephen, many thanks for your ongoing excellent videos. Just a quick question, about something that I've never noticed before. On the corner of Chapel Street and the Promenade, is a very grand/ornate, older building (above where 'Happy Days' is located). Purely out of interest, do you know what this building once was? 🤔

It is a most grand building, but like most, it has faded. Madam Tussauds covered part of it up as well. I’ll ask Pete from Happy Dayz about its history.

Ground floor was Fairyland. A little train going round a convoluted track and mockup scenes. Upstairs a rink where my grandad went roller skating.

Its been really mild here on the wirral Suns been out and its been the 1st bit of warm sun weve had for a while now but i see the station has its diggers ready for the demolition and i have a feeling there will be a carpark in its place lol its the norm in blackpool and as for the loud musiic im the same i hate loud grunge and head bangers music i had a neigbour like that once 3am parties they were in the next road and the garden backed onto mine i had to phone the police in the end the dog was barking her head off they were even lighting fires i lived on a council estate back then i like a quiet life lol but theres the tower our beakon of hope brilliant video today steven enjoyed watching ❤️👍🗼😊🏖️✋
