Yes that's the thing, Its BUSINESS, And Andre was very smart, If the fans were leaning his way in that match he would have won. Andre was very stubborn and didn't like to be told what to do he read off the crowd. Only man to do what he wanted. An the slam was planned yes, But as stated in numerous videos by Hogan and Vince himself if Andre said no slam it was no slam. Andre knew the crowd wanted Hogan to win and wanted him to slam him so he let it happen. But he did do what he wanted.

@billyboblillybob3443 жыл бұрын
Yeah there is another Hulk interview where he said that he had written this whole fight out, move by move and gave it to Andre for approval and Andre just ignored it. When the match began, Andre followed the script. The script did NOT call for Andre being slammed though so the ending was ad lib'd but Hogan had to be ready for it which makes it pretty remarkable that this happened the way it did. Andre could not move well at all at this point but still weighed more than 500 pounds. Hogan mangled himself in order to make the slam happen. Beyond that, this was clearly a baton passage by Andre since Hulkamania was already big and this just blew it up.

Bundy planted his hand unto Darsows mid thigh to turn into the slam and his grip slipped leaving Darsow holding Bundy waist high . He cleaned Bundy up to his chest then shit canned him to the mat . Even by Hogan's own admission, the job wasn't gonna get done unless Andre agreed to it. Hogan was pretty much willing to do whatever it took not to piss Andre off on the day of WrestleMania III, even going as far as to agree to hang with Andre hours before the match and drink with him. Hogan knew the Giant was a lot more easy-going once he'd gotten a few drinks in him, so Hogan was like, "Okay, Boss." lol RIP: Andre.

When I saw that slam I couldn't believe it, especially after the first failure. How does someone help you to slam him Hulk said the first time he dead weighted him. What was different in the successful slam? Like how does one help you to pick them up and slam them when they are that big and heavy? I was young and Hulk Hogan and Hulamnia made me and my brother fans. We even tried to be a tag team together but it tuned out that our knees just weren't capable of wrestling we were injured in training and it was over in a flash it truly sucked, we wanted to be like the Mega Powers conquering the world. I ended up being a PC tech. It was truly an amazing time we had no idea about the predetermined endings and it looked real to us as kids. I remember waiting and waiting for the video store to finally get the 1st Wrestlemania tape it was so awesome seeing the WWF grow. we would drive down to Toronto and be in the stands watching. I was in the crowd the night Marti Jennety hit sensational Sherrie with Shawn Micheals mirror. I remember seeing the rock in Barrie Ontario Canada and I'm pretty sure I saw Hulk during one of these events in Toronto. It was truly amazing.

When he slammed Andre at WM3 Andre was at the point where he could barely move and had numerous back surgeries because of his gigantism. At that time was almost retiring but vince coached him into it So he really was a dead weight Back in 1979 or 1980 when Andre was younger, lighter and wrestling strong so they were able to pull off the move together where as above hogan was doing all the work which was most likely the cause of the tearing

That's two totally different stories that I've heard Hulk tell about this match. In another interview he said no one could slam Andre unless he wanted you to slam him and Andre could make it so easy for someone to slam him by the way he would do it and he said that it was nothing for him to slam Andre because Andre made it so easy for him lol

That he tore his biceps is true But he doesn't say that it was hard to really slam him but to get him into position

That’s because everything he says is a lie

Wow amazingly Andre came up with the exact same finish as every single other Hulk Hogan match. Seriously Hulk we all know it’s a work. You’re like the dude on the movie set trying to convince people that the movie on screen is actually real.
