From The Incredible Hulk Season 5 Episode 3 'Veteran' - Banner must go to the police to save a former Vietnam hero from a sniper.
The Incredible Hulk (1977 - 1982): Dr. David Banner is a widowed scientist caught in the middle of an experiment gone bad. As a result, whenever Banner gets extremely upset or stressed out, he turns into a huge green monster called the Incredible Hulk, with awesome strength and rage to match.

In the comics Yes but if the hulk exist in the real world he might take one or two shots maybe three but a lot more no he be dead.

Those security guards needed glasses because David wasn't holding a gun, and they beat him up for nothing before they find out where the 1st gunshot came from.

Good that the plainclothes cop told the uniformed cops to hold t heir fire because they might shoot one of the citizens by mistake instead of the Hulk.
