The Incredible Hulk (1977 - 1982): Dr. David Banner is a widowed scientist caught in the middle of an experiment gone bad. As a result, whenever Banner gets extremely upset or stressed out, he turns into a huge green monster called the Incredible Hulk, with awesome strength and rage to match.

It was always the sudden things that triggers the transformation that I enjoyed…Like being stung by a scorpion, a swarm of bees, bitten by a rattlesnake, or being trapped in a dumpster filled with rats…I’m glad it wasn’t always him being beaten up and thrown into a isolated area so no one could see him change

For me, one of the best transformations was when David was in a phone booth trying to make an emergency call and got so angry at the operator, it brought on his transformation into the hulk🤣🤣

This episode reminded me of the movie "Surviving the Game". A homeless person is hired by some hunters and they had him go hide in the forest and they went to hunt him down. The movie came in the 1990s with the Hulk episode in the 1970s.

2-parters _not_ included, this is the best episode of the series. It does require some serious suspension of disbelief. "You see that still pond over there? Around the bend _just_ out of sight it connects to the open sea!" Yeah, right. Also, this "tropical island" has suspiciously similar terrain to MASH or The Dukes of Hazzard or a host of other shows that were filmed in southern California. But hey, it's the Hulk. _Every_ episode requires a robust suspension of disbelief.

And at the end of the episode, I’m sure the pilot flew back to the island and saw the grave with Mike Sutton’s name. And I guess no one questioned David in a rowboat going back to Miami. Wouldn’t there be cameras at the airport that would show David with Sutton? I love to think about these things.

After this scene is an example of A HUMAN ♟️ GAME!!! I wish the scene where David is in Sutton's 🏠 in the library which is BOOBY TRAPPED is shown. WITHOUT TRANSFORMING, David uses HIS INTELLECTUAL SKILLS IN CHESS TO FIND A 🗝️, OVERCOMING SUTTON'S TRAPS AND ESCAPING THROUGH THE WINDOW, CONFOUNDING THAT "NUT!!" 👏👍

Hulk should have been the one to kill him (accidentally -- maybe he tries to shoot Hulk, Hulk throws a rock at him, he loses his balance and falls off a cliff) but having him die due to his own carelessness was just lame.
