well if you’re paying for Hulu with no ads it’s $17.99. Adding Disney plus with no ads is $2 more. Keep in mind this is the ad free tier for both. I understand if you just don’t care for Disney content at all. Outside of marvel and Star Wars I don’t use Disney plus. But $2 more is just too good a deal to pass up. And I like the Disney interface better. Just get Disney for the kids if you have any lol

Yeah, slowly everywhere except the US until now. Hulu is Disney owned and it is in the US only. So, now they are slowly integrating it into Disney plus in the US.

In Australia Disney + and Hulu were always combined, only a few shows that were sold to Stan (Australian streaming service) before Disney+ arrived are not on the service

No you do not have everything in Hulu. You have what Disney owned that was on Hulu. Hulu itself is much larger than that and has content from Fox, Warner, paramount that you do not have.

So finally, the United States is catching up with the rest of us around the world. The Star tab has been on Disney Plus for three years now, and looking back it has proven better than the original plan, which was to expand Hulu internationally. Having the likes of Shogun and Aladdin, The X Files and Futurama, Poor Things and Pixar all on one service makes a lot more sense than spreading it all across two.

Until Disney completely merges the 2 apps into 1 and kills off Hulu completely. That's got to be the long term plan. Why spend the money to operate 2 streaming apps when you can raise rates and combine them into 1 app?

Never because there's no reason for it. Anything on Hulu that was made by a Disney-owned brand is on Disney+ in Ireland. Anything on Hulu that wasn't made by Disney is likely already on a different streaming service in Ireland.

legit the ONLY REASON i ever care to pay for streaming services is for the user interfaces and THE FACT THAT IT STAYS IN FULL SCREEN WHEN IT GOES TO THE NEXT EPISODE. i have no issue paying for netflix and disney plus cuz of those 2 reasons and for the exclusives. i just pirate everything ANIME and anything that isnt on either of those sites like the HALO show. given i wish i had paramount so i could have watched halo there so i was a piece of data in the site as someone who was there every week watching every ep so they make a s3... cuz a show like that i feel NEEDS every person it can get for that matter... compared to say invincible that i know is gonna get renewed no matter what and i just stream it somewhere else
