Bleach speeches hit harder then most anime speeches. Most of the time I zone out during speeches in other animes, but when I watch bleach I give it my full attention and truly think about it. These character's were written so well, ideologies clashing, some of them fight for no reason other then to shed blood, and some characters have no will to fight at all, yet they all remain important to the story in some way regardless. Wow this happend very fast. Thank you. I saw exactly what I was looking for - the same words, but in a completely different way. The original was just like the style of the anime but this manages to reflect Zaraki Kenpachi's sad personality. He doesn't feel pain, and that makes if difficult for him to consider himself as alive. He is twisted and the twisted part of his character is also twisted. He fights so he can feel alive and yet he doesn't let this desire to lead to massive destruction, which will be the easier way for him. I think

I don’t like fighting either. But Kenpachi makes a good point. It is kind of like the same as when we want to protect someone. Do we protect them because we know them? Because we care? Or even love them? You don’t need a complicated reason. Fighting is the same way. Do you fight because you wanna pick a fight? Or because they are threatening? Or because they made the first move? The list is endless. What matters is what do you do about? And how you use it? Same as when Ichigo fights. He needed to figure out what he is going to do with that power instead of trying to return it.

The fact that he finds out Ichigo's instinct, and tells him what Zangetsu tells him in the "king and horse" scene. For real if Kenpachi was Ichigo's master Ichigo would make Zangetsu to break the whole seal and control the whole power, as long as he'd accept Zangetsu as Zangetsu. Instead of denying him and accepting his Quincy powers only as part of his soul reaper's power only.
