I love that I can just throw certain aspects of this to the wayside and just enjoy the story. If I start to think about it too much, I think, "Yeah right. They would have just evaporated us from space." but then I just let go and go along for the ride and enjoy the beautifully crafted story and the message behind it. Bravo.

Nah, some of the pronunciations were totally off, even with the variations of pronunciation that make English and American dialects so different, the pronunciation of certain words just didn't fit either form of the English language, it did have at least some part of the narration that was most definitely AI generated but, I feel it has been a much better narration than I have come to expect from AI.
@surenot11742 ай бұрын

Well written and well told. It is refreshing to listen to a story that isn't all about how humanity is either all forgiving or the most powerful be all that ends all force in the galaxy without having any actual substance to them. All the other stories just praise how benevolent humanity is for 20+ mins. This story actually had thoughtful ideas and creativity used to create a saga where humanity rose from near extinction to, with the help from many other races, fight and rebuild. I also really enjoyed the references to other sci-fi giants such as Stargate Atlantis, Star Trek, Star Wars, Battlestar Galactica, and Warhammer 40000!

I greatly appreciate the time, effort and smartly executed imagination it took to make this fantastic story. Your description of the weapons on the combat mechs was simple yet it gathered up a SciFi guy like myself imagination of what (Some Might Agree) Our hero, the Master Chief's body armour should've advanced by now. Beginning the story with the storytelling to the young hatchlings and then advancing to what the humans were currently doing was perfect. I appreciate you and all who may have had a thought and hand to contribute to this story. It was time well spent. I think that someone should have been violently FUBAR for the betrayal at the end. Some of us require that satisfaction who might have survived those long years of Recovery Refining & Revenge. Anyway, who, what, when and where... Godspeed♾️To You And Yours

This story isn't realistic about human nature or strategic planning. For such low numbers reproduction would've been paramount before revenge. Young women in combat at low population is absurd.
@geofthompson38445 ай бұрын
You weren't listening properly then. They had a population of 1 million after the the destruction of earth and other colonies. But had 5 million by the time they had their first battle against the wraiths. So they had increased their number by 4 million. Considering that they would have had many old people and kids amongst that 1 million, they must have bred quite a lot. And they were doing it for the purpose of revenge not survival. So every man and women capable of fighting would have.
@JesusRodriguez-zy3wj5 ай бұрын
@@geofthompson3844 If you think 4 million is a safe population level with which to undertake intergalactic revenge; then we'll agree to disagree. I still think women of reproductive age in direct combat at low population levels is not strategically wise.

Um, the mass of a moon would be in 'orbit', so breaking it up would just make a bunch of bits in orbit. If its a moon then its own gravity would keep it together . at its orbit there would be no drag so a moon break up would only affect those on the moon. Basically no gravitational changes or impacts on planet
