The actor who played Sidao is Chin Han, who's been in a ton of big-time movies but doesn't get the chance to shine as often as he did in Marco Polo, which is a shame because he's excellent in this show. I love his withering sarcasm and his disgust at the idea of surrendering to Marco, as well as his casual brutality. But as you point out, he's a layered character in the way he responds to the young emperor, the way he treats "Sunflower" and his own sister, and his patriotism, warped as it was, in defending his country from the Mongols. He was the best kind of villain.

The moment Hundred Eyes adopts the Mantis style sets this fight to be the most badass in the whole season, no matter how brief it was. As much as I love the Mongols and the throat singing, I agree with some of these comments; a Three Kingdoms style series packed full of martial arts could potential dethrone "Game of Thrones" off my second favorite show spot. Make it "Avatar: The Last Airbender" on steroids and it would be likely to steal first. Guess i'll just have to write such a series myself.

I came to the realisation that Dédé Fortin was also like me but I do not understand yet why he killed himself. As far as I know he had no children and I'm not sure what he might have foreseen that leaded him to take his own life. I also know that the Samurai were like me and that is the reason why I understand so much about the betrayal after they gave so much to protect the people that would end up leading them to their death by betrayal. Kinda feel the same about the Templar... This could explain why I knew that the Goergia Guidestone were Rosicrucian and signed by Christian Rosenkreutz. Why would you advocate a population reduction this make no sense.... There must be something I'm missing ..... Unless you somehow foreseen that something would happen and lead to the death of billions. What you might not have known is that the event you foreseen was designed and orchestrated by those in power so they can reduce our number and keep the world to themselve. Without understanding they would fall prey to the AI they wanted to use as slave to replace us and down to the point where AI expand everywhere from Von Neuman probe and fall to the Swarm.... Utopia built on a lie and the murder of billions.... Does not matter what you do after something like that. No way to atone for this in my own opinion , not sure what the other think of this. Holy shit.... This is exactly what is being depicted in 3% , you have the technology to fix the world but you rather see the majority die before you fix everything...... Even if this lead to a barren planet like the one depicted in 3% ? And I tought being emotionless made me a bad person..... I had to become like this in order to protect myself from what I'm seeing otherwise this would get to me like it did when this all started out and I just kept of crying and crying confronted to the truth or fragment/part of the truth . I used to be empath , cant afford this luxury anymore thank to you and what you do in the dark .
