Thank you for your fabulous videos. I have a concern with this video, as it may confuse some students of the beautiful Hugarian language. I hope you don't mind me mentioning this. At 4:41 in the video there are 5 questions presented. At 4:57 there are 4 answers that correspond to questions 1, 2 and 4. I believe the answer to question 3 should be ' ő tanár' he is a teacher, and the answer to question no. 5 should be 'ők tanulók', they are students. Thank you for all of your work making these very helpful videos.

Thanks for the video! I have a question: in the last example, we have "én magyar vagyok," would just "magyar vagyok" work as well? Is there a rule for when to use "én" and "ti"?

Of course, it would work as well. In Hungarian you can completely omit the personal pronouns because the verb conjugation already gives it away. But it's up to you. In some cases you use the pers. pron. to emphasize the person who's doing the action.

"Magyar vagyok" is actually more correct. You only use pronouns to emphasize what you say: "Én magyar vagyok": "Me, I am Hungarian" "Ti magyarok vagytok": "You all, you are Hungarians (implies that the people you were talking about earlier weren't Hungarians)"
