I was out exploring the logging roads with my Jeep and stopped for some lunch grilled up on my PSKOOK Wood Stove. It is the same as the REDCAMP stove.
I grilled up some Hungarian Sausages and put them in wraps. Sure the sausages got a little charred, but the meal was still great!

I just love the little wood stoves. So convenient. I appreciate that you left in the little bloopers with the camera, burned food and ants in your food. Videoing is hard sometimes. And love that view!

The little wood stoves really are a treat to have! I like leaving the bloopers in, when they are appropriate. It shows that it's real😁 It also shows our struggles out there as well. I was surprised how fast those ants found the food, lol😀 The views in the mountains there are really great and I enjoy them a lot!

This is a smaller part of a bigger journey up to the mountains. I'm going to edit a video together and you'll see some limb cutting. I used the mini electric chain saw out there for it. The Jeep is excellent for outings. I can pack everything in to it and I can also sleep in it if I decide to make an overnighter out there. I'm hoping to get out more for exploring out there. Always need to check for new places since you never know when they are going to log your favourite spot.

Those sausages were cooked perfectly. And the toasty wrap is even better. Great little stoves.

That was the first time I've toasted the wrap on the outside. It was quite delicious that way😋 I enjoy those little wood stoves. They're easy to set up and quick to get going. When it's colder out they are also a nice little bit of warmth😁

Loved the camera falls. 😂 Glad you kept them in. That stove seems very efficient. 'Charred' was the word of the day but nice save with the scraping. Stunning backdrop while you were eating. I enjoyed this one, lots of fun.

Thanks, Daryl😁 I thought the camera falls added to the video. Not everything is easy out there. Charred the food, the camera fell over a couple times, the blackberry vines were attacking me, etc. Yeah, the scraping worked well and they did not taste burnt at all. I was quite surprised😀 I guess that's what happened when you don't watch your food cook and you're off doing meal prep. The mountains up there are a great place for a break and a meal. I was lucky to have sun at that point in time. I had a lot of rain come down on me on the way up there.

sometimes, one has to scrape the crispy bits off. Jae was like the background looks green screened. she knows it isn't crazy how pretty the mountains are in the background. Nice flyover. Great little outing.

Yeah, the way the camera videoed that, it does kinda look like it's a green screen, lol😁It would be easier to do these videos that way, lol! I love it up in the mountains. It was nice the sun came out for this video. I was in rain about 5 minutes before this video was done and I was hoping to get through lunch without getting poured on and luckily the rain was done. 'm not sure what type of bird that was, but it looked like it was searching for a meal. The sausages tasted pretty good. I was quite surprised that the scraping was that effective😀

I really like having a stove like that. It works well for what I want, but it seems I need to keep a better eye on it while grilling sausages😁 It all worked out and tested great😀

Yeah, I do have a lot back there in the Jeep! I try to be prepared for emergencies out there. I also like to be prepared for lunch😁 It does taste better out there! I get the opportunity to grill the food over fire and just enjoy the peace out there😀 The camera kept wanting to visit the ground, lol😁 I'm glad it's ok! I enjoy sharing and I'm glad you enjoy watching😊

It really does taste better out there! It's nice to have a little fire to cook over the flames. The stove really is a nice one and I enjoy having it! I like that I can put it all away and not get soot all over the place. The views up in those mountains are pretty great😁 I love exploring up there😀

There are a few places we can get away with it here on Vancouver Island 😀 There are other places where they are relentless! For those places, I use PiACTIVE spray which has Icaridin. It works as well as Deet , but without the stink 🦨 You can get it at Canadian Tire and Walmart. It really is a great place up there in the mountains 😁

Yes, you should test your soon! Yeah, for the fire ban season it's really great to have a canister stove. I like mine that I have and they'll come out some more this summer too. The lunch was good. I was really happy with the toasting of the wrap😋

Delicious looking food. That stove is big enough to cook properly. The camera must have been hungry too when it fell a couple of times. I hope it's okay.😄 It was going to be bad for me. I had a wound on my elbow. The other day it became inflamed and swollen. The pain was unbearable. It became a bacterial infection. Fortunately, today there are antibiotics. Otherwise it would be game over. Feeling better little by little.

It tasted great😋 The stove is great! It makes it easy to have a fire and not make something huge. The camera survived😀 That's scary that you got a big infection in your elbow! I'm glad to hear that you are healing up!

@@agesadventures Wounds should definitely be cleaned and protected. It's so hot here that all the bacteria are going wild. Normally, the hot periods don't come until July. The old people talked about the rotten month when the wounds became inflamed easily always during the hottest times of the summer

@@karelianprepper it is interesting that it is hot there. It has not been warm here so far. Yes, clean those wounds right away! I always try to disinfect them as soon as possible.

That was actually one of the dry parts of the day. I wasn't sure I was going to get the sun out there. It had poured on the Jeep on the way up there and 5 minutes before I was getting wet looking at elk. So it worked out perfectly😁 Yes, the food does taste better out there. I think it is because of the views and the fresh air😀
