Thank you for your videos! They are very informative and have helped plan our trip to Budapest perfectly! We have a free day where we wanted to do a day trip but can't decide between Eger and Szentendre. Szentendre seems beautiful and more convenient in terms of Travel time but we do love wine and Eger also seems amazing. Would you have a recommendation between the two?

Hey there! I would say that Szentendre is indeed more convenient, more easy to explore as it's a smaller place vs Eger. It also kind of depends on the day you go, Szentendre is especially more vibrant during weekends vs Eger, however regarding Eger it should be noted that in the Szépasszony Völgye (Valley of the Beatufil Lady) where a lot of Wine cellars are, more places are open and more people visit also on the weekend especially during the night. But if you just want to see the old town and the castle and get some wine there it should be fine too. Honestly I love both, but I would actually try to spend a night in Eger, so if it's just a daytrip then if its on a Friday or Weekend I may vote for Szentendre 😊

Hey there! If I see correctly on their website it's 2100 huf for a round trip ticket. 😊 It's a small train like vehicle that takes people from the city to the wine valley 😊🍷

True, even though for me a Goblin is not something cute, it means more like "kobold" :D And while indeed thanks to Tolkien the Elfs are also not like our Hungarian "Manó", google translate gave me Elf for Manó... our words may not match up perfectly with the English words :D
