You read my mind.Was thinking the same thing what with the lag in videos & this one @ 8:50. I could see getting bored with this life style after a period of time. I've done that kind of touring myself & now @ 71y.y., it is not all that appealing. Plus I got fed up with too many dumb asses on the road.
@timothyupleger70072 жыл бұрын
I agree with the burnout theory. You two were riding in some of the most beautiful area in the state of Washington and nothing said about it. Nothing about your route. Nothing about the area. Nothing about the scenic route your on. Just Chris's hunger and reasons for it. I even watched this episode all over again just to be sure I hadn't missed something. I've noticed that your episodes have gotten shorter also. I did give you a thumbs up on this one, but reluctantly. This was the least interesting episode I have seen. I hope for better soon, or the end. This negative effort to keep the channel going just isn't the same as before.

The sudden downturn in content is dramatic. Maybe they don’t realize it. Maybe there’s nothing left to say that hasn’t been said. You tube sites just fade away sometimes.

Wish I would have seen this long before now. When I was still working (b4 retiring) on the road, I used the Hot Logic mini which is a really cool little cooker that operates off of minimal wattage. You could even cook with it while going down the road if running a solar panel and hooked to a power station in the trailer. as long as you have pass-thru solar charging you could use it and not even drain your battery. The Hot Logic is really handy because you just pop whatever you want for lunch or dinner into it, (use a glass covered dish), put it in the cooker, zip up the bag and plug it in. 3-4 hours later you have a hot meal, ready to eat.(A charged power station would do it also without charging)

I just noticed you have the extra lock on your tour pack. Is it really necessary? I've been thinking of taking a road trip but nowadays I would think security is definitely an issue. I've already ridden through areas that I knew I shouldn't be in. That was bad enough. But if I have to worry about my gear and belongings, strapped to my bike, I think I'll pass and just stick to local rides.
@TwoWheelsBigLife Жыл бұрын
Yes the factory ones broke so I bent and installed a Home Depot one. Just to keep people honest. Mainly when tank bags or helmets need to be safely stored. We have had no issues with theft at all. Cheers.
