And we're back! The guys will be going live from Kansas deer camp with the dads. Our last KZbin live in Illinois went so well, we figured why not run it back? It's always our goal to be in the game on a mature buck, but there's nothing that beats the memories created at deer camp. Join us as we recap our Kansas trip thus far, and discuss strategy moving forward. Come say what's up, ask us some questions, and talk deer with us!

Enjoy spending hunting camp with your Dads. For me, it was some of the greatest times in my life. Unfortunately the last two years my Dads health has kept him from hunting. Cherish these moments guys!!!

My dad went thru a couple bad health years but has made it back. Hoping your dad does the same, as they are awesome moments

Cherish anytime you get the chance to hunt with your Dad, every year you do is one less year you will, It’s something I will be doing for seasons to come. Great pod guys!

Sucks I had no service where I was hunting in Ohio when this aired. Loved being able to meet the dads and have them reflect on the importance of hunting and our youth. Cherish moments like theses boys. As always, looking forward to the next one 🏹

Also, talking about the crossbows and compounds. I remember whenever I was 13-14-15. Granted I went to a small school called avella. Graduated under 60 kids in each class, but I remember talking to my buddies and whoever else about bow hunting. And i could name maybe 4 kids in the whole school that archery hunted.!Avella is a town where almost every boy was going deer hunting during the gun season. Now back then, we couldn’t just go to wal mart to buy a bow, we couldn’t google where to find a bow shop. We couldn’t buy a goddamn cross bow from mac discount. Today you could buy a 280$ crossbow that shoots 400 fps with the click of a mouse. I remember my first bow, I had an Oneida eagle. I had a hard time finding someone to work on it for me. Couldnt find anything that was capable of doing it fletch arrows, or change my strings or adjust it. I think because how available everything is, plus with you tube, especially because you can watch people like jeff sturgis that give you contradicting tactics and tips daily, and teach you what you need to know the same day you buy the cross gun. People that never witnessed the rut in person had no clue how awesome it was.. With theses damn computer apps and KZbin videos. Everybody is able to learn the tactics and the do’s and donts from the couch. Bill winke says his favorite day is Nov 7. I know guys that have done zero Scouting, and decided to start hunting November 7 with their crossgun, then wound a doe and not look for it because they don’t know how. Long ass story short. Internet and availability is to blame for the rise in crossbow purchasing. PGC knows too, how much profit it brings, by bringing crossbows into the game. Next thing you know they’ll be making us wear orange because Bob snob shot a guy at 210 yds with his crossbow

Bro. I’m from and live in Kansas and just like these guys are talking about. Public not what it used to be. All these farmers see all the money they can make from these out of staters. They are buying hoses raising property values and taxes. Which taxes hurt people in this demographic. Hunting is becoming a rich man sport. I am done chasing big bucks on public and I refuse to pay 4-5k to hunt deer on private. It’s such as shame. 😊
