I think OG Bleach could have been better too. The many fillers, pacing issues, censorship definitely hurt the anime adaptation. TYBW adaptation is wonderful so far! Now we have it as a seasonal anime, with high quality animation, art, wonderful soundtrack, great pacing, excellent voice acting, can't really say anything bad about it. Yeah, I know they cut out some manga content and some explanations (actually NOT, they are still there as Japanese texts at the commercial breaks without English translation). Very happy with Bleach right now. It was always one of my favourites even with all of its silly flaws.
