That jig was getting it done. Went to Hartwell the other day and it’s at full pool lol. Lots of bait in the creek but the topwater bite was dead. Caught all my fish with a small swimbait up shallow. Headed back in the morning. Hopefully topwater will be better.

Does it count that the same day i caught a mess of them on a craw pattern crankbait? Spro are second to none for that if they are chasing at all.

What size jig head do you use? I keep trying your suggestions but on my Lake Keowee I have no luck.

I use a 1/4 oz jig and I don't go any heavier. Not all areas of a lake are productive, make sure you are in the creeks and around bait.
