Folks, we have a situation on our hands. After this brutal cold-snap for the next three nights, it's going to warm up and the weather is calling for rain and wind. That, with 30-40 degree temperatures is the worst-possible scenario. Tents aren't going to be enough. We have to get some tractor-trailers in there to get people into. With the heaters, they should be all right through the night. This is the only way they are going to survive. In this weather, if you're wet, you're in big trouble. We're talking about kids and old people, too. If you know someone with a tractor-trailer, ask them to go on up starting on saturday, when the rain is supposed to come. Otherwise, call your local trucking companies and urge them to act. The main force of the rain should only last 2-3 days, and the trucks would be free. From monday (today) to wednesday, 1-3 inches of snow are predicted and 3-5 inches of snow for places higher than 3500 ft. That's all going to melt in the rain. Pray to stop this rain. If you're more new-age, or your beliefs are more nature-based, go ahead and do some elemental magick. Situation critical.

So you have hurricane insurance it only pays if there’s no water involved? I didn’t know there was such thing as a dry hurricane. If you’ve got the tar, I’ve got the feathers!!! 🙏

Not a natural disaster! God bless you volunteers and donators. If I was younger and not disabled, I’d load a truck and drive it there. So sending $♥️🙏🏼

Please look into the hurricane class action lawsuits against the insurance companies. It took 3 years to get settlements but loans from the government need to be paid back! Also I think you could get help from the relief services of the Presbyterian Methodist Lutheran relief for trauma counselors and help applying for unemployment, food stamps, medical insurance. That is what those programs are for, a hand up not a handout!

Insurance is a scam, I've come to believe, after hearing a lot of stories like this one. These folks are on their own except for neighbors and the churches. It's a crying shame.

I honestly wonder if these people realize God in Heaven sees and knows all - I really pray the people withholding what others have paid for (insurance) or any type of assistance gets their life right before it’s too late.

and I guess God did not tell Noah to build an ark cause he was going to flood the earth and kill every living thing that was not in the ark....I am not saying God caused all this destruction--but I sure am not agreeing that the government did it either....and what if you learned that God DID cause or allow the hurricane--are you going to hate or blast or walk away from HIM? forget blaming someone for the disaster and just know help is needed even if the only thing in your power is prayer-prayer is the greatest thing you can do, pray for the right people at the right time to do what HE is calling them to do and that the victims will all accept the help being sent their way.....love one another pray for one another trust God and trust IN God believe Jesus is who He is and follow Him serve Him......
