I’m at a loss for where to even start. The hurricane destroyed almost everything I had. My house is barely holding up, and I’m not sure if my insurance will cover the damage. Thankfully, my family and I are safe, but I’m just not sure how to begin rebuilding after something like this.
@KorenJames2 ай бұрын
I’m so sorry to hear about what you’re going through. Have you been able to get in touch with any disaster relief services yet? FEMA and the Red Cross have been setting up stations to help people with immediate needs, but I know it’s overwhelming right now.
@TheronWinslow2 ай бұрын
I’ve been in touch with my financial advisor, Desiree Ruth Hoffman. She’s been incredibly helpful in navigating these kinds of disasters, especially when it comes to restructuring my financial plan and understanding what resources are available. If you haven’t already, I would suggest talking to a financial professional. They can help you take stock of what you have, what needs to be rebuilt, and how to leverage your insurance and any available aid.
@MarkLiam-r5s2 ай бұрын
What he’s saying makes a lot of sense. It’s crucial to first assess your immediate needs, but also start planning for long-term recovery. The federal government has declared Milton a disaster area, which should unlock several resources for people affected. In addition to that, some financial institutions are offering emergency loans and deferments. First connect with FEMA or a local relief organization-they can help with temporary housing and supplies.
@JamesMiles-r5v2 ай бұрын
From a community standpoint, we’re working on getting additional resources into the most affected areas. If you need help navigating the paperwork for insurance claims or government aid, we’ve set up a hotline specifically for that. There are financial services out there that are designed to help people in your situation, whether through financial advisors like Desiree or directly from government relief programs. The important thing is to take it step by step.
@MarkDenver-o7y2 ай бұрын
That all makes sense, but it’s still hard to even think about finances right now. I appreciate the advice. I guess the first step is just figuring out where to start and getting some help on board.

Watching the selflessness that’s been unfolding in response to these hurricanes has been nothing short of awe-inspiring. Your coverage has helped bring these stories to light, and it gave me the motivation to channel that inspiration into a music video. I never thought I’d find myself in such an ironic situation-writing a song about unsung heroes while trying not to draw attention to myself. I’m not reaching out for recognition but simply to say that your work gave me hope, and I hope this song does the same for others.

Mike thanks for checking back with Linda. I spread your video around you posted last week. Contacted reps in Memphis of what the Sheriff was doing ( to whomever would listen). Sent a link and information to the Shawn Ryan show ( former NAVY SEAL). Hopefully the Sheriff was either reprimanded or removed from his position. I got in touch with Patriot Supply and seeing if they are willing to donate or supply needed items to the folks in Tennessee and North Carolina ( waiting to hear back from them). Served as a law enforcement officer for over 18+ years in Florida ( Manatee county). Took bad hits down here from both hurricanes.

There was a C7 Caribou parked across from my company hanger at Bragg in the 70s. It belonged to the Golden Knights. Man I loved hearing those radial engines fire up. The aircraft you're in is smaller but a similar jump configuration. The paint scheme is almost identical to the C7 Caribou except the Army gold and yellow on black. Can't help but wonder if the owners were Golden Knights. Glad Linda has control again. There are a lot of true heroes in this saga. She's definitely one of them.

With this incredible power that your channel has and the willingness of people in mass across the united states, how hard would it be to start saving the cash donations for a mobile woodmill/ sawmill. Theirs so many tree's still being cut down i would think turning those downed trees into reapair for still standing home's those that lost everything maybe a tiny home would better than nothing. Also how are these people going to vote? I've made this comment on many different channels and it either gets deleted or doesn't get any traction. I know I'd want to vote out the people in guberment that ignored these fine folk's.
YT is DEFINITELY Censoring the Disaster videos, I've been watching daily pre-storm to current and just last evening 10/13/24 videos fell off the screen whereas before the Internet was Blasting with 1000's of videos on this subject. YT sucks sometimes!! Now you have to literally type in N.C. TN/FL Disaster etc. in search of a video ,when before those types videos came up automatically and were suggested. Videos are few and far between now. RRRRR--this event still needs plenty of coverage to keep the affected peoples warm/fed/and sheltered throughout the coming winter months until they can resume some sort of normality. They have NO JOBS/NO CARS/NO HOME and for some NO FAMILY LEFT TO HELP THEM. Children have been left Parentless and Parents have been left Childless--we mustn't abandon the needs of our Brothers & Sisters they NEED people to talk to as well.

Did an UH-60 helicopter wash out the unsecured tents and papers at a distribution point? Yes. Were they trying to destroy or disrupt the supply distribution? No. The crew was bringing in equipment to drop off near the distribution point at an uncontrolled LZ. The pilot made an approach and realized that the LZ was untenable. As he powered up to get away from the area his rotor wash turned up loose and unsecured items around the distribution point. No injuries were documented, the commander of the NC guard unit took responsibility for the incident, and the entire flight crew was grounded for the investigation.

I really hate all the lies being perpetrated by the Main Stream Media. I am a little over a 100 miles from where Tennessee was hit. I have hiked or visited most of the areas in Tennessee and North Carolina. Frequently. It is some of the most beautiful country anywhere. The impact is incredibly sad. Loss of home, life, possessions are sad beyond belief. Also all the people in these areas have lost their jobs and incomes. Our church has helped send loads of goods to the area. And I have donated money to trust worthy groups. People from all over America have come to help. It brings to mind the old saying I love my country but I don’t trust my government. The impact of this is huge. But it’s a brief mention if that in the press. A lot of America is still full of good people. From those in our church that have been to the area they are grossly undercounting the dead. I hope as many have said that you folks can get buses or whatever to get to the polls. We need people who care about our own. Not illegals!

Yes the foreign state is DEMANDING more of Americans money, Americans be put in more debt to pay for their wars, conquest. Those over a hundred thousand American troops that's over there protecting, fighting for the foreign state could be used here at home to protect Americans, America

If I recall, the someone at the airport, who told you the person who ordered the supplies seized was the state head of "operation airlift" which makes little sense ... Did they mean to say Operational Support Airlift (JOSAC)? THATS WEIRD because a DOD civilian employee would have to request those air assets, which would then fall under FEMA when assigned, and be at the usage of the incident commander... who probably didn't expect to get the assets requested, and panicked looking for something to keep them busy😂 So screwed by a bloated bureaucracy?
