I thought about you, my son in Spartanburg SC. It’s devastating up there. Power company said 9 days no power. We bought a generator and 15 gallons gas, drove up there. A 1hr normal trip, is now 3 hrs as many roads are closed. We were blessed🙏🏻 they are now with basic needs. We left them smiling with their fan blowing, little lamp bright, a portable burner to cook on🙏🏻 We pray for our beautiful NC mountains & Everyone affected ❤

I'm in East Yorkshire and my Princess Anne works extremely hard without additional feed. It seems she is taking a break from December through to the beginning of May. We have been out of power several times a year. So I know exactly what you go through even though we do not have hurricans like that! But the powerlines go through the woods an we are way out in nowhere! Lots of love from Sweden 🇸🇪

About a month after we moved into a house in NY, we had a winter storm knocked out our power for a week and we lost our well also. While we had enough snow to melt for water, the whole house generator got installed real quick after the storm cleared. One of the best investments we made and paid for itself many times over.

I have been worried about you and Praying that you are all okay. My daughter lives near Fort Myers Fl and her house was flooded, Everything inside is ruined but the house is still standing and she wasn't there when it happened so she is safe and that is all that Matters. Thanks for the update

Darran and I are so glad you guys didn’t sustain more damage to your beautiful home and garden center. We have family that live in Florida. They are okay. This storm was catastrophic! So many lives lost and more than 1,000 missing. May heart goes out to everyone in its path. God bless!

Unbelievable devastation. It will take years for clean up and rebuilding some areas. So thankful you are ok!!!! Samaritans Purse is headquartered in Boone nc. Salvation Army and Red Cross are all good to donate to. Western NC highways...all highways...are completely shut down. Pray help can get to those trapped in the mountian communities.

Can't even imagine what that would be like. So sorry for all of the damage, but like you said, the family and your parents are fine, and that's the important part. Helene was so disrespectful! In Augusta Georgia we have no water, power, internet service off and on! Thank God for our gas grill and our new generic generator we stood in line to get at Home Depot. We didn’t have any visible damage. Grateful cause it could have been bad compared to ours neighbors! Take care all!!

Good morning. Thank you for letting us know you are all ok. There is a lot of clean-up in your future, and I am hoping your power is back on now. Looking at the tulip poplar reminds me if a tree we had do the same thing MANY years ago. Tree went over, root ball in the air. We were well experienced in cutting firewood, but what we did NOT anticipate was the sudden W-H-U-M-P of the root ball slamming back into place when we cut the tree trunk near the base. Had anyone been on the root side if that stump, they would have been killed. Education is always expensive, this time only costing us stunned silence. I always think of all of the people cleaning up after huge storms. I hope this experience will be shared by your followers and, hope of hope, save someone the cost of education.

We always pray that God takes sketchy trees down during storms in a safe way- and so far we’ve had 4 dead pines fall along our driveway in least destructive ways 🙌🏼 we’re so thankful, especially for the ones that are rotten and dangerous to cut down ourselves.

Help, I've either fallen off your email list or the hurricane has interrupted my getting them. I resigned up again this morning but no emails yet about the shrub sale. Glad you only had tree damage. It's a lot of work to clean up. We've had 2 major storms here in Houston and we were very grateful all the tree damage missed our house. Many of our neighbors didn't fare as well. With these storms we were without power 7 days with the Durcho and another 3 days with hurricane Beryl. We"re too old to be hauling 5 gallons of gas every 8 hours to fill the generator. Getting a whole house generator.

My nephew is on the SC and Ga border. So far he still does not have power. Our Florida condo on Venice Island only has minor ground damage. Other areas on the Gulf suffered major damage.

I bought the Eclipse Hydrangea a couple of weeks ago, Jenny and honestly the foliage is so gorgeous that I’d be okay if it didn’t even bloom. Glad you all came out okay. Good that you still alive, I suggest you really keep this videos in a safr place and gather with others as much information as you can. The repeting saying is " I've never seen anything like this", too many anomalies in this storms, too specific spots, really ,people pay attention ,your country is habing too many strange activities.¿ where are the chppers rescue? Ask all the questions, as much as you can. Open your eyes!

We lost 2 oaks. One blocked road and wonderful neighbors were they clearing it within hours. Limbs on the azaleas....they will rebound. We had a an oak that we needed to remove after lightning struck it. Low and behold sick tree standing tall. The front of our yard is gong to lose its shade so I'll need to give the azaleas away. Duke says no power until Friday. That's ok. We are blessed to all being unhurt and no other damage. All prayers out to Western NC and Tn. So happy your damage was this minimum!

So glad everyone is safe and no structural damage. It’s been quite the year for you all. Maybe it’s not a thing where you live but it surprises me how much you don’t have ditches running along your driveways and roads to help direct water during storms. In our area it’s a must. Our roads and driveways have to be higher than the surrounding area or everything gets flooded during springtime. Maybe something to consider doing in your problem areas. Best of luck to you!

Your drive to e commerce area, maybe lower the road? Allow the water to go through? We have 2 areas in town by the lake called the spillway...200 years ago, they just let the lake overflow, we drive through it, I think instead of gravel it sits on a lot of rocks then pavement. Its amazing, has lasted through floods.

tenn, nc etc got hammered, being at the bottom of a mountain means even more flooding as water comes down the mountain. terrible. my ex brother in law lives in asheville, sometimes my nephews spend time there with him, they live last I checked in winston salem, I love nc spent alot of time there as a teen and we go to he outer banks alot over the years, I want to move there if we get a chance, what kind of pine tree was that that hammered your plants?

Yes Tennessee is bad my daughter's friends lost their homes washed away. We live in Jonesborough Tennessee we were camping in piegon forge resort we had to leave the campground the water was getting to close to our camper so we left on Wednesday thank goodness we did nolichucky will never be the same the water level was 30ft it has changed the land and businesses and farm land. Glad y'all are safe this storm was huge we are safe as well we live away from the nolichuckys path.
