HURRICANE IAN CAUSES MULTIPLE TORNADOES AND FLOODING 😱 SCARY NIGHT AHEAD ⛈ FLORIDA HURRICANE UPDATE

This Hurricane Ian is going to be massive!! It's predicted to be a category 4 hurricane when it hits and its effects will cover the entire state of Florida! This massive hurricane cone is already 550 miles in diameter, it's a huge hurricane! Our prayers go out to everyone effected by it, especially those out in Fort Myers and Cape Coral region on the west side west coast of Florida, because the hurricane will cause strong winds over 150 mph and because of a king tide the tide in Fort Myers Bay will surge upwards to 7, 8, and even 9 feet or more. Unfortunately, because Fort Myers and Cape Coral have a bay the water has nowhere to go so there will be massive amount of flooding from the surge of water and king tide, but also a lot of flooding from the downpour of non-stop rain for the next 48-72 hours. They put out a video this morning of their backyard of their home is flooded ( they have a pool that they were worried would overflow into the floods from the rain). I understand what you all in Florida are going through with natural disasters. I live close to the area where one of the wild fires was that killed two people: The Fairview Fire. Thinking of you. Here on Prince Edward Island, Canada we just experienced Hurricane Fiona. Nothing like we have ever seen before. I was 59 hours without electricity but there are still thousands without electricity on Day 5. Much devastation to homes, properties, schools, etc. to say nothing of our coastline. I’m in Jacksonville…waiting on the storm. I quit panicking years ago. I have one of those chargers with the crank. 3 years ago I looked at it and thought…hmmm, how many times would I have to crank it to charge my phone? 😂😂😂 My advice to you is stay at home and off the streets. Fiona hit us pretty bad here in Canada. I live in New Brunswick and the damage was horrible were I like all are roof tiles came off and we live right near a beach and are whole backyard just flew away and flooded all the fences were gone and remind you they where titanium fences and they just flew away are whole entire gazebo did too Fiona was crazy and we are still recovering even now it’s heart breaking 💔

I lived in Orlando in 2004 when we got hit by a Hurricane with winds up to 100 mph. I want to say it was either Hurricane Charlie or Francis..Now that was scary because the winds hit at night. Our flight was supposed to leave Orlando last night so it was canceled. We rode out the storm at our resort. Nearby in Kissimmee they’re doing high water rescues. Saw a funnel cloud yesterday on the way back from Trader Joe’s. Surprisingly they were fully stocked and not too busy. Got bread and water finally!!

By now (9-28-22 7:28 central time), the Hurricane has already come ashore and is finally losing strength. Guys this was a particularly bad Hurricane, not just because it was a Category 4, but also because the eye wall was 30 miles in diameter. A large eyewall takes a while to dissipate and will not be as affected by a land mass, like other more "normal" Hurricanes with smaller eye walls. Glad you two are safe!!

I don’t know I’d you have a cooler like one would use for camping but if you do it would be good. If you needed to evacuate you could use it to put some perishables along with your homemade ice cubes - just a little more preparedness. I have I think that exact crank radio for when we go camping (here in Wisconsin summers tornadoes can creep up out of nowhere)!
