Yes my husband works for remnant Cafe in Sarasota that helps the homeless and he told me that they have several shelters open for the homeless and others

Last time my husband and other people that worked at the church use the buses to take them to different shelters throughout Sarasota and Bradenton

There is some background hum/feedback, but if you turn the sound up on your KZbin screen (lower left hand corner) as well as on your sound device (headset, speakers, etc.), you should be able to easily hear the broadcast. I can turn the sound up at my PC for this video very loud!

Yikes this will be bad if the predictions are correct, stay safe. If people living in high rise apartments/condos live in basement to 3rd floor apartments move up to stay in the hallways of 4th floor and up if you don't or can't evacuate. Take a mattress or cushions to sleep on and a box of food like chocalate bars ready to eat canned goods up with you it could save your life. Don't stay in lower apartments. Be prepared.

I don’t even like pool deeper than 6 feet. A storm surge 12 feet deep is horrible. Why doesn’t national guard get deployed BEFORE storms hit to create flood defenses?

I think no matter what flood defence that could be erected in the next 48 hours wont even put a dent in what is going to make landfall. It makes more sense to evacuate and get out of the way then stay and try to fight mother nature. If you try to fight mother nature, you will lose. Your house isn't worth your life. You can live somewhere else..you cannot get another life.

I hope this hurricane isn't that strong hopefully!!! Everyone loves Florida and I have always wanted to live there or get back there I just hope the storms calm down so the people and structures will be ok. I also have relatives and friends that live there or have lived there.
