You have been a blessing to me. I am not Mennonite but was born and raised in Indiana and knew and loved many Mennonite families from northern Indiana and Ohio. I was raised Church of Christ and we have many of the same beliefs. I love your channel and it blesses this old 78 year old saints' heart to hear young couples such as you and Nick speak about the Lord. We are all brothers and sisters after all. Patty I too was raised Church of Christ. I still believe many of their teachings however I do not believe they are the only ones going to heaven. Many say they don't believe that, but that is what they teach. Makes me sad. I do enjoy Franklin Graham. I think Lynette and Nic are great.

Giving a child an abundance of love is not spoiling a child. Spoiling is not providing limits because it is easier to give into what the child wants than it is to say no- and mean it. I work in a middle school, and too many kids are spoiled too much and not loved enough. It both frustrates me and breaks my heart.

Boy, when you said you were older that Nick, I had to laugh because I am 3 months older that my husband. I tell him on my birthday, since I am the older and "wiser" one, he has to obey me until his birthday. We have fun with that and have a lot of laughter. We also were married in October 2011 and will be married 9 years too.

I agree with you, Lynette. Nick is so funny and does have a wonderful sense of humor. You compliment each other. I love how he gently pats your shoulder. Oakland, loves to show off in front of the camera. She is so darn cute. Lynette, your house looks lived in. Yes, occasionally you see toys in the background but: you have kids, there are suppose to be toys on the floor. You do a great job keeping up with household things. When you were talking about fear with the things going on the in the world, I can sympathize. My husband expects me to watch what is being told to us by the media. I am not ignorant about what is going on, I just choose to not dwell on it. I do what I need to do to stay away from crowds, etc. I wear my mask when I am out in public, etc. I am almost 66 years old and have health issues which getting the virus would be worrisome for me and my husband but I do not think much about it because I don’t always believe every thing I hear on the news. I trust in God with all of my heart, and whatever happens, happens. I enjoyed watching you and Nick answering questions together. It is always great to see you both. Stay safe and well.

Great video! I always love hearing your personal feelings of faith. I know everyone has their own feelings and beliefs on the virus, etc. and many faith communities are following different decisions on opening services. I am a Christian also, raised in the church as a preachers kid. ( different faith) I really enjoy listening to Nick talk about the Bible. My grandmother sold remedies that were called Union South and white liniment and sassafras tea those were just a few things that she sold a lot of she always had this basket and she'd bring me and some of my other brothers and sisters along. This was a great Q & A. You seemed to hesitate on the "What do you have in common question?" You and Nick both have a love of real estate and all that entails in common - from being open to meeting new groups to renovating laundry rooms. You also have your faith and kids and background in common. You both have the entrepreneurial spirit in common. Your values may have some differences, (Nick it is maybe ok not to discuss small differences, but when it comes to core values and what is God's truth about certain issues or how will family issues be handled, people need to be heard and listened to. That's not male/female. That's more avoidance vs. maturity.) But the point is we see lots that you two build your relationship on. Also, like Lynn said, your differences actually compliment each other. Nick is easy going, charming, and light - hearted but too much of that could be a problem. Lynn's focus and discipline and organization is a strength but too much could make life harsh. Each brings limits and the best out of the other's traits. Glad the kids can go back to school and glad you are happy with your choice of Sarasota as your home. Looks like Oaklyn is ready to start her own channel. You two are just holding her back! She was ready to take over there! She is just SO adorable! Nick's words about his daughter were very touching. The boys will learn humility from little sis who is such a bright light.
