The story reminds me of another story where the husband wanted an open marriage a few years into their marriage. After constant begging and coercion, the wife finally gave in to his demands. Sad thing was, he couldn't get any girls to sleep with a married man like him. But she got A LOT of young men who didn't care. It got him pissed off and decided that they shouldn't open up their marriage anymore. This is what they say, "f*ck around and find out." 😂

@yeyosilver7067 If you really think about it, it is easier for women to find men who only want some action briefly while harder for men to find women who just want a one-time thing. So it's not as far-fetched as you want to make it. And it is especially crucial for the men who keep wanting to push for open relationships to understand the consequences. Unless they're already cheating, then that's a whole different story.

Same sis. My ex husband got a fantastic stepmom for his daughter and another income for him. I was used and so were you. I found out my stepdaughter's senior year at college that he had a girlfriend. I stayed quiet until I switched my direct deposit to another account, got an apartment, and all the evidence (pics etc) of him cheating and had divorce papers drawn up. The house was in his name so he could keep it. I didn't even take my pillow from our bed and left. He came home one day to me just gone. The only thing he was furious about was that I had moved my money. These past 5 years have been incredible 🔥 Never again

He didn't even ask, just demanded.... We're having an open relationship and these are the rules... And then he didn't go to her or even pretend to try and comfort her when she ran off to cry on the couch all night. Not that it truly makes a difference since it's going to have the same result either way and pretty much everyone already knows he's already sleeping around... ... but on a psychological level it's just screwed up as it gives us a better idea of his mindset and lack of respect towards his wife. She described a perfect happy marriage but I'm thinking she's been very heavily psychologically manipulated through a lot of her marriage. All of those "reasons" are just "excuses" and I'm glad that she stood up for herself and left him. There's too many things that show he never actually loved her.

Honestly, he should have started his relationship with someone he was sexually compatible with. It's an important aspect of a relationship, sort it out relatively early so that problems like this don't arise later. Even if you're against pre-marital sex or have boundaries and want to wait, you can talk about what you'll be willing to do when the time comes and what you think you will and will not be comfortable with. It's not perfect, but it prevents him being driven to do something so hurtful and cruel to his partner after nine years.
@MeyaRoseGirl
@MeyaRoseGirl 7 ай бұрын
Well, she did say they started their relationship when they were very young and married so they could become his sister's legal guardians. They were likely still learning their sexual needs and preferences when life pushed their relationship extremely far forward. Because they were so busy being parents, they didn't really have time to address their own relationship and its problems. In a normal relationship without the parental issue, their relationship likely would have fizzled out much sooner. This actually is rather common among couples who married young and got so busy in the day to day of raising their kids. 20 years go by, the kids are in college and they look at each other and realize they don't even recognize each other. At least in this case it was only 10 years. But their relationship sounded like it was pretty good, with the exception of the sexual incompatibility. So I find it hard to believe that this guy is going to be able to find someone that meets his sexual needs as well be as compatible as OP was in every other aspect of their lives. He probably realized that too, which is why he suggested that he have someone else meet his sexual needs while OP meets every other need. You can't have it all. And if you can, you don't get to have it for long.
@albread6684
@albread6684 7 ай бұрын
@@MeyaRoseGirl Really? From what he was saying, part of why he didn't just want it to be sex and he wanted another partner (basically a gf) was because they weren't compatible in terms of activities either and had nothing in common. I watched another video like this after this though so I may be getting them confused. Anyway, from the sounds of it (and assuming I've not got the wrong story in mind), they were incompatible across the board. And I get the idea of not being able to have it all, I just don't always accept it. Work to provide the things a partner wants given that that partner will also work to provide you with the things you want and while you both have to put in effort you both come out with whatever you wanted. In terms of the sexual incompatibility not having been acknowledged earlier, I get that the pair were taking care of his sister, but they were young adults. Early twenties. We could say they were occupied 12 hours of the day with work and the kid, then an extra 8 hours sleeping (even then, the majority have more free time than this) 7 days a week and that'd still leave 4 hours a day they could spend together. I refuse to believe that an opportunity to talk about it didn't crop up until ten years down the line, and in the event that it's a more recent thing he didn't know he wanted, then that just makes it worse honestly since it leaves her blindsided not because of poor communication but just because he had his head turned by a new idea and wasn't fully committed to what he had.

The husband was really upset over the fact OP filed for divorce even though he admitted that he will cheat on her. He is toxic & really immature. Honestly for the second story I would have probably post a Facebook group message and tag them all in it. Honestly from my boyfriend's phone I would have said what happened you look you're either as delusional as she is or you were a horrible friend and didn't ask me for my side of the story and either way right now we can't be friends because of your actions. I mean seriously what did she tell them to make them block her immediately. If I had two friends and someone told me such a horrible horrible story that I be thinking about blocking someone I will call that person and be like look she just told a cray cray story and you've never shown any signs of that what's going on from your perspective. And if the person you told me the crazy story told me I was a horrible person that she was kicking me out for life or even asking that question then I would be suspicious of the story.

For the second story, the second she asked her insane request, I would ask her if she understood how crazy of a request that was. I would have told her she is not in a healthy mindset and if she thought that was a good option for her and that ruining a friendship would have been worth doing something like that. She clearly was unhinged so maybe I'm a more understanding person than most but honestly, it would have probably fixed a lot of issues. She wanted to have a healthy relationship like her friend had but she didn't understand the concept that she needed to find that relationship, and not think it ended at just that guy.

She is obviously in the right to divorce him for his cheat threat and open marriage proposal. But she really downplays the fact it is obviously a loveless (sexless) marriage, it doesn't have to be every day but the amount of women in these stories that expect their husbands to magically be ok with basically being celibate because of the length of the relationship is beyond naive. That said DON'T CHEAT OR LIE! Just communicate honestly and leave or divorce if it isn't going to work and stol wasting your fucking lives.
