There are 2 aspects to maintenance 1. Maintenance for children. If both parents are working, responsibility should be 50-50. Else, father should pay reasonable expenses for children 2. Maintenance for women: if she is educated, she should get maximum 6 months sustenance.

I think Alimonies should be given based on difference of income of both Husband and wife...the difference amount must be splitted into half and given to person who is earning less 🎉

@@factsunloaded4808 yes in US it happens that way. If the husband is earning less than wife, he is given lot of breaks in child support. In India, laws are highly biased against men. Women have converted marriage-divorce-alimony-maintenance as a big business

Even the Lawyers are responsible to uphold the sovereignty of the house. I don't know the lawyer who supports the accused who gives tips and direction to escape is not held responsible. He is leading the accused to do higher crimes. Even the Lawyer who is directing the accused should be punished for not dictating the truth and spreading lies in the judiciary house. Why is the Court compromising , on facts and papers court has to pass judgement and not on who is rich or poor. Our honorable Judiciary which is being governed on the blind policies should pass a ruling on the grounds of facts. Pass the judgement on facts and papers produced not on personal thoughts . I don't think Mrs. Judge should be on this chair. Rich or poor, accused / guilty or innocent purely on genuine hard copies submitted to the court judgement should be passed. Mrs. Judge is biased by her good thoughts and heart. Hardcopy facts is what she should look at.
