Great job. I noticed the old tarp frame sitting beside the barn , unused. I thought that might be a good airlock entrance into the new greenhouse when wet or cold weather hits.

I think a mezzanine leveled brooder in the new chicken tractor would be a wonderful idea and an easier start right now. I liked the idea someone suggested earlier of building it to where it could somehow fold up when not in use. The building plans you two have rolling around in your heads.....you could do it!!!

Got to love a man who actually reads and follows instructions! 😂 Got a frantic call from my daughter years ago to hurry and help.because her husband was going to get his drill. "He's going to ruin the expensive wooden swing set cause he can't get the holes to line up!". He was sure mad when I asked him to undo every thing he had done. When I asked for the instructions my daughter had to look for them. Then we had to look in several other places for all the parts. After reading the instructions, laying everything out in other and me pointing to what parts went together next the set was together in no time. And guess what.. no drill needed to drill extra holes. 😂😂😂

FYI... when you pull your plastic be up ready to go before dawn, I've done many greenhouses, as within a hour of sunrise you will get internal heating occurring naturally that will cause the plastic sheet to rise while you are securing the plastic. Also be sure that you have extra hands present for the pulling of the sheet because if that naturally occurring heat rises from under plastic you will need extra people to hold the plastic sheet down wile others are securing the plastic down. This has to be done in a super fast manner otherwise damage can occur to the large plastic sheet. Alternative it to do it at sundown with lots of artifical lighting, no sunlight - no natural occurring heat being generated under the plastic sheet. Also be sure its planned to be a super calm day, 5 mph wind makes huge difference when you are holding 50 × 100 sheet of plastic down & trying to secure it in place.

I admire how appreciative you are, Al. You never fail to thank Mrs. Gina for all she does, not to mention goats, chickens, pigs and such for their contributions to the farm. I was happy to see Miss Olivia. She's a happy person which is infectious. It makes me smile when she skips off ahead of you during chore time. Be well, thanks for sharing your story, congrats on amazing builds.

What about building a caged mezzanine brooder within the coop? It could store against the wall when not needed. The big chickens could have more floor. The chicks aren't tall enough to use the space they have now. 🤷‍♂️

Nice Job on the Greenhouse, you guys work good together. Too cold for me Al, I would wait for better weather. Hey Al, when you feed the goats, you could add maybe a 2x8 on top of the 4x4 so the goats would have a better place to stand, I always see Hope and the other goats trying to stand on that 4x4 at the bottom.

Absolutely amazed at how fast the High Tunnel greenhouse is coming along or how cold it STILL is in New Hampshire (it was 85 degrees F in south central Texas yesterday). 😍 Looking forward to the "wrap" portion of the build, and then, the planting. I live in Tulsa, Oklahoma. We get all four seasons, and the weather, for the most part is mild. We call it green country. I moved here 6 years ago from the Desert Southwest where very little will grow. My friends that were born and raised here, have told me everything grows in this area. I started a very small garden this year with tomatoes (of course) cucumbers, strawberries, lettuce, mint, and okra. Planted marigolds to help keep the bugs away.

On the other end of wire tie wire around a metal ring above head height.these we used for hanging baskets of flowers and veggies. Worked very well. Save spaçed. Love your videos.

Here in Perth Western Australia its winter veggie garden time. Our climate is quite mild so we are growing peas, beans, broccoli, cauliflower, spinach, onions, garlic, pak choy, celery, potatoes, silverbeet and beetroots. Almost all from seed as it was hard to source seedlings with the Corona lockdown and panic buying. Still, it has spurred me to build more veggie beds and be resourceful. Its a small yard so I'm using small beds and pots. I'm looking forward to being more self-sufficient. Loving watching the hoop house develop! God bless you Lumnah family

I think the East Coast is below normal temps while the West Coast is sweating to death. No happy medium. Yes, I remember my kids having the erector sets, they loved them and that is exactly what the greenhouse build is looking like!

I enjoyed again so much! Gena I'm proud of you for trying, cause I never have been able to get rid of that fear of height especially climbing or standing on a ladder!

I got the willies just watching you on that ladder. It is looking great! My era was tinker toys. I should blow you some of the high 80 's and low 90's we had lately in SO CA. Stay safe. Little Nora is a real sweet doeling. I enjoy watching all the four and two legged critters...makes my day.

I'm glad to see your wife was with you. Gina, I hate ladders too! Both of you be safe!! I'm planting a bit of everything... lots of tomatoes, green beans (bush and pole), broccoli, cauliflower, Brussel sprouts, beans to dry (black, kidney, pinto), potatoes, cucumbers, squash, and sweet corn. It's going to be a busy spring, summer and fall taking care of the garden and canning but it'll be worth it!! My chicks come mid-May, I can't wait!! Be careful and have fun getting it all set up. It's going to be awesome when you are finally finished!

I have been interested in the entire build thus far. I guess that I am looking forward to watching you two put the covering on the green house. It is a larger structure than I expected. I am not sure just what you will be using as the covering, as you will want it to last several years. I watched how another channel put the covering on their hoop style green house , but yours is much larger. I love watching your channel. How is Tanner doing?

I’m right there with ya Gina on the heights!! It’s why God stopped me growing at 5’10” because He knew I’d never be able to stand up!! Your cooking skills make up for the height thing so no worries!! Greenhouse is looking great...you guys are real troopers out there in that weather gettin it done!! How are the crops in the raised beds doing?

I have to say, the look on Gina’s face when she was on top of that ladder said it all! That was true bravery. Just swallowing that fear and getting the job done. What a trooper! She earned even more respect from for that.

Love your vlogs. I've followed you since Hope caught her flight, to her forever home with you. Great editing. Was wondering how have the up & down temps effected your maple sap collection? Is it still flowing??

I just made a breakfast bake (casserole, egg bake, etc.) yesterday, too! I used homemade paleo (gluten free) bread, ground turkey, bell peppers, onion, chopped broccoli, cheese and the egg mixture with almond milk. SO good!!! Yours look awesome, too :)

Can't wait to see how the cover goes on that beast ! I ordered a 7x7x15 tunnel in earl fall 4+ years ago only to find out to late that one end panel was smaller than the other, there were no instructions, insufficient hardware . . . no wonder it was so cheep. My uncle has dozens of collectable erector sets, nearly all accumulated after his 40th birthday if memory serves.
