Such a clean bike. Do you know where can I find new plastics for the exact same bike, sir?

Plastics for these are HARD to find mate. I have a few buds who have been looking here in the States and no one has any. Where u located?
@godlesstheist37502 жыл бұрын
Actually all I need is front & rear fenders and radiator shrouds for the both side. I can’t say he offered me a bad price. But $205 for the plastics I wrote and $80 for the shipping hurts me since I don’t earn Euro or Dollars. Otherwise I would have bought it.

where do you get that clutch? and where did you get that leo vince slip on?
@motardyoda2 жыл бұрын
So the Easy Clutch lever system I got from Ebay, they have many colors. This is the style but look for other listings if you want another color. www.ebay.com/itm/400990182205 The shorty lever I got on Amazon: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07HMR2Z4K and this should be the one used actually. I may have had to modify the end cable holes to fit the sm610 cable but it was easy. As for the Leo Vince, that came with the bike. I've got a set of Dual Leo's, full titanium system I'm putting on my 2010 smr510 build right now actually! I love Leo's for performance.

they were dope, the decal set, one of the best sets I've ever bought. The carbon I got from P3 direct. I called them begging to check to see if they had anything that might fit and they found these. i just got lucky

Where did you buy thqt easy clutch?
@jonathanwschaefer4 жыл бұрын
Moose racing has a decent one but I saw mixed reviews so took a risk on a cheaper one I found on Amazon. Just search "easy clutch" and it should show. It does take some tweaking, I could prob do a vid on it. The main thing is getting the cable of the 610 to fit which has a different cable end, a bit larger, but it can be fitted. The other huge key is to fill the Easy Clutch with a thick grease, like axle or white grease. This keeps all parts moving super smooth, even any metal on metal. Lastly, get a cable lubricator. for your main clutch cable. These really help. I like the Motion Pro but again, there are a few on the market. Funny someone even looked at this vid, I only did it since I'm selling the 610. I'm a hard core SM510R guy and will start posting vids on her soon.

Bro, where u buy parts for them ?
@motardyoda2 жыл бұрын
its tough to find some parts for sure. here in the states, we can get some from a shop called Bills Cycles up in the state of WA. Also some from Halls in Indianapolis. If you're in another country, I'd call the closest Husqvarna dealer and see what they know about how might have them. Also try Ebay
@meddis46473 жыл бұрын
how would you compare it to 510 ?
@motardyoda3 жыл бұрын
Great question! For starters, the HP is about the same, mid 50's. So for arguments sake, lets say both are at 55 hp. Well given my smr510s are about 270 lbs with a full tank of gas and the 610 about 330 lbs with a full tank of gas, its safe to say the 510 "feels" more powerful. She is certainly easier to throw around in the twisties, easier to do wheelies and stoppies, easier to stunt, etc. But the 610 is way more easier to maintain. For me, the DRZ400sm, SM610 and SM701 are all bikes in the 330 lb range that are easy to maintain but that extra weight and easier routines for wrenching means if you're not big and strong, going "lighter might be righter". I say that cause once you get under 280 lbs, things change. Sure, bikes like wr450s, smr510s, fs450s, yz450f, fs570s and all of these 450+ cc bikes that weigh less than 300 lbs are super powerful so for me, a blast of adrenaline any time I ride one. But just remember, they all require a lot more maintenance from oil changes to rebuilds. Its not even close. And if you're a big boy? Like 2210+ lbs? Then for me, the drz400, sm610, sm701 or smcr690 is the way to go. I say that cause anytime you weigh close to or as much as the bike your riding? Its never a good ride lol. Side note, did you see my 510 vid? here's the link: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hqjCmZ5sgaqrhs0

@@motardyoda personally I'm not very tall (181cm), i Weight ~58kg and strong am not, also I'm 16 and i ride 125 4t which weights about 286lbs with full tank, haven't ridden nothing else than this 50cc quad years ago and Kymco agility 125, idk anything about Kymco but my 125 as a daily is nice, every 4k km oil change, since it's bit heavier when going fast it feels stable and doesn't go everywhere on the road while windy, through corners it's nice, feels stable and like something won't brake or is loose like i sometimes get a feeling on a Kymco, so i would be looking something like my sumo as a next bike, reliable and worth a daily, and something that won't catch on fire if it's gets looped, so you would recommend 610/630 then? And if you were buying new big sumo, would you rather get LC4 or go to another country to get 610 fi, about same price
@motardyoda3 жыл бұрын
@@meddis4647 so for sure, the LC4 or the sm610, fuel injected for sure would be a good starter bike. Either are low maintenance and way easier to keep up compared to something like an smr510. But if I were your age? I'd seriously consider a wr250x if you can find one. They are super cheap and soooo easy to take care of but whats great about them? Super easy to wheelie! They are tough as nails and overall, a great bike for any first time rider hitting the streets who wants to learn on a bike that can do it all. The wr250 is great in the dirt too so if you could find one that's already setup? a perfect fit imho. Cheers and if you're on Insta, follow me so we can stay in touch. Its way easier to dm on their app

@@jrrambo33 So are they not tapered? If not, you might want to change the bars. Mine are tapered for all my bikes and where I mount the mirrors they're about 23mm wide. But I slid them toward the middle where it gets wider and they adjusted fine. So even if your's are 25mm at all locations, these will work.
