What are all those wires? Low voltage? I mean, judging from the mess there could have been an electrician/technician there before who ran 120V or higher in those cables? Or what do you think? I would not leave it before I knew for certain that none of it was hazardous voltages/current. And if some of it was, then I would try to mechanically protect that. Im just an electrician with no HVAC experience, but I would appreciate your opinion on this:)

I hear your concern. I thought the wires went through where I ran them through that black knock out. Originally it actually never went through there because that knockout was capped off. It just followed the large 3 fan motor wires that follow across the top. Some protection would be nice so the insulation of the wire doesnt come out and end up having a short but its alright, they will be fine🙂 haha. Good eye & thanks for watching🤘 New videos every week!

Im not an HVAC technician, and I am not trying to judge, but shouldnt the wires going through the hole have been protected in some way? Either a rubber grommet, electrical tape around the wires, maybe a tube or hose around it? I would worry that the vibrations would cause that metal edge to cut through the wires. Would love to hear your opinion on that. Sincerely.

The knockout was just a cap and never orginally went through there as I suspected. I wanted to use that black piece around the wires to protect it but it disappeared inside the unit when trying to take it off. I actually used some electrical tape in that section around the wires for some extra protection against vibration. An actually fitting wouldov been better but it is what it is🙂 Thanks for watching and the feedback!
