I've been in the trade going on 35 years. Worked for a company and did the Super Walmarts with those Aaon's. Many times went behind some chop shop jobs lol. Surely not for the Novice, we never had internet back then lol and your videos are really good. Keep up the good work young man and be safe!

Thanks, Hcast! I remember no internet, pagers, and CB radios. It's amazing the knowledge we have at our fingertips now.

Did a lot rtu change out at Sam's and Walmart's removed Aaon and installed Lennox. They all had that Novar control system originally. Swapped over to Walton's Honeywell controls adapted in for the HVAC, lighting and refrigeration. I do enjoy your videos, no screaming and great information.

Thanks George! This is a similar, old chain store but the new tenants are trying not to spend money. All replacements are basic package units, no more controls are being used. A lot have been replaced, this upstairs office was just occupied and no one thought about it until they were there, then of course "we need this to work now"... lol

Canadian retired hvac guy here ! Love your videos my friend. I spent a year installing the old novar systems in retail stores 25 years ago Lol ! Lighting and hvac, seeing this video brought me back to those days ! Keep up the great work sir 👍👍

Never worked on HVAC units but, I have many years with intercom/fire alarm/CCTV-MATV systems. Have seen the same "hack jobs" there as well. Many were done by "Very fine Dealers" or "extremely Good Technicians." Used to have to follow one of those "technicians" cleaning up his work, take the panel off and tell you he had been there.
