careful suggesting that, because it's most always highly corrosive to metals and most will spray everything, including the unit, wiring, piping and more. it can be as bad or worse than animal/rodent urine.

I usually change out contactors wire for wire unless I arrive at a unit where the wires have already been removed or are in the wrong place from a previous tech or a customer that attempted to repair their own unit. (Both rare situations) If I have to trace wires, I do, but I don't need to take the time to label or memorize when I do it this way. That's what works for me and takes the least time. Glad you noticed the issue before turning it on. Great video.

Leaving the capacitor in the box makes it last longer. :) I like that trick device you have for swapping schrader valves under pressure. You should try and get accredited and offer one or two students at the time OJT, with the goal to become certified AC Tech's. You could grow your company and do it with reliable people.
@hinspect2 жыл бұрын

Every HVAC tech should have at least 2 of those core removal tools, more if they also work on VRF and/or mini split systems, as most of them have 5/16" ports. Not just for replacing leaking valve cores, also greatly speeds up refrigerant recovery and system evacuation.
