I Had The Opportunity To Test This Belt For A Solid Month Prior To It Hitting The Market, I Can Tell You It Does Exactly What Todd Says It Does. With A 2018 RZR XP1K Highlifter The Secondary CVT Squeal Is Very Noticeable, With This Thick Quiet Belt I Literally Hear Nothing Out Of The Clutch System Now Through The Snorkels. Very Well Done Todd & Thank You For The Work You Do!

Sounds perfect for my style, slow speed, Rocky Mountains, also thinking about the Dura clutch so I don't FREE wheel descending steep terrain

Would this belt by any chance quite the squeal in the 2014 xp 1000?
@Hunterworks5 жыл бұрын
They normally do not squeal on a 14 so I can't say, but it should be better than anything else.

@Hunterworks5 жыл бұрын
Carl Elkins you don’t need the washer that comes with new one.

What about the old one I just installed it do I need to put the washer on and I’m sure u have answered that somewhere but I have forgot and yes I will be ordering another belt for a spare
@RS-jv7qd5 жыл бұрын
I replaced the square pucks with your roller ones and installed the thick quiet belt along with new white washer in the primary clutch. Still have the same squealing sound as before. There was no change in the noise at all, driving me nuts.
@Hunterworks5 жыл бұрын
Then only reason is, the shaft spacing is off on your vehicle and it will not allow the new dimensions to do what they are supposed to do.
@RS-jv7qd5 жыл бұрын
I will check spacing and update my original reply. Thanks
@Hunterworks5 жыл бұрын
Bob Studinski how do you plan on checking it?
@RS-jv7qd5 жыл бұрын
Hunterworks Inc. If I have to purchase the alignment tool somewhere, I will.
@RS-jv7qd5 жыл бұрын
Just ordered the SDI alignment tool and primary puller tool from Hunterworks. Will keep you informed on how far they are off and final result of squealing noise issue.

I bought the HD belt for my 2014 1000 xp when it was first released. This last weekend i finally installed it. I have STM clutches (clutched for 32's) and was wondering if i still need that white washer?
@Hunterworks5 жыл бұрын
No,different belt, has changed twice since first released
@mm64e503 жыл бұрын
I had great luck with your original. The new one is too tight
@Hunterworks3 жыл бұрын
No such thing as too tight, these are made to exacting tolerances, best to email me what your symptom is and I will fix it for you. todd@hunterworks.com Lets say it was 1" too short but somehow you got it on anyway, you have a bearing in the primary and as long as it was not touching either side and bearing good then secondary would not turn.
