A more useful question would be to ask for the transient current profile aka Icc(t) because that would contain the information on rate of change of current and hence make it easier to think about ht effect of inductance in PDN and also give us insight into value of capacitor needed to handle the droop.

This is correct! You're talking about the current profile of an SoC. However, remember we're playing the role of someone with experience in power delivery but very limited experience in SoCs. Great comment though!
