Climb in your trunk and pull the emergency latch

Rears seat might have a lever on top, push it down and reach for the emergency latch on the trunk.

I think it is worth to mention you should disable to High power battery pack before you do anything electronically on this car, it is located behind the driver side rear seat. Just simply pulled out the switch. Other than that it is a good video. Thanks

You forgot to hook up the vent tube, or didn't show it. Also the other side of my battery had a second vent hole on the front that needed to be plugged. DieHard provides that plug molded into the positive terminal cover.

every vehicle your suppose to connect a memory saver to save the memory in the computer so the car wont start running funny , also connecting the memory save will alow the windows not to lose memory as well

U would have to climb into the back seat, fold your seat down and release the trunk latch inside of the trunk. Seems like a lot, but that's the only way you'll be able to do it with a completely dead battery

242k on my 2013 fusion. Leaky main seal at about 82k replaced under warranty. New transmission 128k. Battery finally died after 11 years. However might have been replaced at 120k from rear collision. Will know once I see the date on the battery I’m removing.

You 4got to put the vent tube back on, that mistake can cause the computer to burn out and the hybrid battery to explode and blow up your car.

I did put the tube back and that tube cannot cause the computer to burn out that is to vent the acid vaper from the battery to the out side it's not to cool anything down

Insurance adjuster are lairs they are not your friend they always want to under pay you and most of the time they dont want to pay anything the vent tube have no cooling function so there is no way it will cause the computer to burn out your car probably had other problem than that vent tube that's why it's always good to have lawyer talk to your insurance so they dont take advantage of you
