I have the BMW LM body on my Super Nitro RS4 I bought years ago. It came fully assembled with EVERY option piece you can get. It also has the 2speed tranny. I am looking into getting back in the hobby. Thank you for the video!!

Hey bro! Yup, I just saw the new prices a bit ago, I'm doing a video on the topic right now. I told everybody to order when they had the chance though, cause I knew their prices were too low for what it was. That body is great looking! And it looks to be built to last underneath, chassis, drive system, etc. if it’s as fast as you say I’d have trouble keeping it straight with such a touchy servo response. And as with most things its a learned skill. The brought out my Revo 3.3 a week ago, just to get some minimal run time, had forgotten that I always ran off road, and the sidewalk wasn’t friendly with the wide off road sticky’s! Flipped over and over. It’s ok though. Thanks for that blast from the past!

The Super and the Kyosho FW-03/4 were my favorite road cars. Bought every parts lot I could find on Ebay and a case of Kyosho rear tires and a case of wheels (work on the Supers) . Have 3 of each car, from stock to bling...they all handle GREAT!

Kyosho were first to do this with their Ford RS200 nitro rc, way back in the late 80s and I loved running them because of this. No bottom, mid and high needles to freak out over. lol 😝 . hey my dude! I gotta tell you another positive thing about the single needle carbs, did you notice there is no rubber boot around the rotary carb lever? Well the design is also much less prone to vacuum leaks do that entire mechanism. I agree man, for the average user there is no need to ever mess with the Low Speed Needle, and for all Traxxas Nitros that is almost always the problem, and yet we just leave it flush as set from the factory. AGREE! Single needle carbs for the WIN!!! IN terms of longevity at least.

I did read somewhere that the single needle engines where originally taken from nitro planes . I can't remember where I was looking for a 12fe for RS4 sport 3 Evo and came across a single needle carb thread 2 years or so ago.

I wish they back Associated NTC3 factory version2 . Such great handling cars. Super reliable shaft drive shaft 4 wheel drive. Electrics are very fast but are no realizim to nitro sound and exhaust gas.

btw the Super Nitro body to wheel proportions fit much better than normal 1/8. Super Nitro looks like a regular car downsized into r/c. If you've seen regular 1/8 with a licensed body they look like they're running 25" wheels

hey bro! Very good point about the wheel proportions, you'r right. This is why I love this chassis, you get the benefits of looking good, running basic cheap engines that are not the typical big-blocks and you still have a taller ride height on a true on-road chassis without the funny looking larger buggy wheels. Plus this thing runs super quiet with the baffle pipe, I might just keep it stock for now. We will see.

If I can find bodies and wheels that aren't crazy in price I might jump on it. After building my nitro 3 recently I really do appreciate the ease of design/maintenance. I have the very same car except I have the white viper body I still have to fix... Mine's was also seized and has the old electronics The wheels on mine are weird they are foam can you put new foams on the rims or should I just get new rims cuz the foams I think are the originalI can recondition them ? Whatever the case I got to do some work to it I also have all the books and literature.

hey bro! The 4-tec wheels are just regular 1/10 on-road wheels, they will fit any rc with 12 MM hubs. They are the same size as typical 1/10 scales. The super nitro wheels are larger, but yes they would fit, but ground clearance will be basically gone at that point.

hey man! Thanks for watching. So far it seems KYOSHO is discontinuing lots of on-roads and most their stuff has been "ON-ORDER" for a year so far. I would not count on kyosho to make on-road great again, lol. Anyway, their 1/8 on-roads are expensive and just buggies at best with road wheels. Lets fact it. The Tamiya TGX was pretty cool and highly rare, I've never seen one in real life. But the Super Nitro was kicking ASS and everywhere at the time. Nitrogang!!!.
