I got the k20z3 shifter and cable swap kit for ek civic, my question is can I adjust the cables because 1 is binding a little

From my understanding the 4cyl and V6 Accord shifter cables are the same, so you would think the TL would also share the same cables as well since it’s basically the same car.

@@undergroundkingsgarage3215 you might be right on this. I just looked on an Acura vendor site, the shifter cable are some what similar but still different at the shifter bracket. Probably the reason for the different OEM part number; I don't know just assuming. However, if it just the difference at the brackets; for the TLs it a twist and push to remove, then it possible to install TSX with slight modification, maybe.

@@HoMiE327 the bracket could be different because of the transmission? The TL has an LSD where as the Accord does not. Maybe Hybrid can solve this issue 😉 I have an 04 V6 Accord 6 speed that needs cables to match my 130R knob

Would like to see z3 trans cables/box on a k-swap car. Can’t find any useful info on the easiest way to use a z3 trans.

Best way to use a Z3 trans is with our TSX shifter and conversion shifter cables. Check out our website for that setup.

Very nice cables! Do you also sell a billet bracket to mount these on transmission? The stock bracket looks pretty awfull 😭

Factory brackets are the strongest and best option. But I agree, if you have an older one, they can get nasty and rusty. Good thing we will have a solution for that soon. ;)

Hmmmm? All forward speeds work but the gear shift lever won’t stay in reverse, just keep springing back to neutral . Basically I have no reverse

Disconnect the cables from the transmission and check if you can get it to go into reverse by moving the gear selector by hand. You can also contact us directly, [e-mail] and our techs can help troubleshoot.

Would the shifter cables work with a stock shifter? Or do I need the short shifter?

If you have a TSX trans and TSX shifter, yes.
