Omg i scored a 49key today and i tried to blindly cowboy the settings and it wasn't working .. but i think i had remote ON in the live settings?? whatever it was i followed this exactly and now it's working and being able to record and then edit MPE is INCREDIBLE. I'm locking myself in the studio with this thing right now. Goodbye and thankyou so much

Helpful regarding DAW recall. In the age of Hybrid, it wouldn't hurt for ASM to emphasize digital recall support. FWIW, it took some persistence to find this video.

Followed exactly but my Live 11 crashes every time external instrument track set to MPE. All settings on my Hydrasynth Explorer are setup as described here. I am on Mac OS Catalina.

Hi! I followed your instruction, but Ableton doesn't record knob variations either from master control and filter control. How to fix it?

Hey i cant figure out which channels to rout it to? if its only connected via midi cable which channel to i select in the Input

Best sound modeler I ever bought, It would have completely killed the market if it had a option get to usable FM tones like the Digitone does with ease, it would be like having a Hertz Donut, a Digitone and Virtual Analog all in one. I hope you guys explore that idea because FM synthesis is on fire right now but getting to usable tones with FM is even hotter.

It can actually do FM that is much deeper than the Digitone. We have a flexible routing in the mutators that allow you to create all kinds of FM routings.

@@AshunSoundMachines It would be great if the hardware could hint that it is in-tune or approaching a tuned state visually. Led real estate would be nice but Perhaps the big jog wheel can turn a solid color if we are tuned and blink wildly when we are in complete dissonance while scanning tones in a FM setup. Just a suggestion.

I don’t fully grasp what MPE has to offer more than poly aftertouch with the HS since it doesn’t have pitch bend per key or X dimension. Could you please explain ?

You have a point. The ribbon strip should get the channel of the last pressed or highest note...MPE is a workaround, and I think that Ableton filtered out Poly aftertouch until v11 (though it was announced for v10). You can also make Poly aftertouch possible with several instances of a vst that can only process mono aftertouch. And with MPE, I think Hydra can at least process poly controller information as provided by seaboard (not sure about that).

Version is 11.2.7 at the moment and no problems here. So you can upgrade and see if it remains?
