Thanks a ton. Probably the best video I watched about how to do this.

You didn’t have to bleed the hydraulic lines?

How does the air bleed off from the air lock?
@MasterJacks2 жыл бұрын
It gets circulated out when the pump runs.

.... wait is your hydraulic shop called Azdell’s?! If not that’s my go to shop. SO MUCH CHEAPER than going to a dealer for seals. Since they want to sell you a full packing kit which contains the same seals, but is usually 5 times the prices of buying the individual seals at a hyd. Shop.

The local one near me is called Tristate Hydraulics. I agree, I love small town specialty shops. All the seals together were right around $40, and I didn't have to wait a week to get them!

I heard NEVER USE ATF as it ruins the seals!? Use only the oil which goes into the system.. Why atf??
@MasterJacks3 жыл бұрын
Thanks the comment. ATF is a premium hydraulic fluid. It won't react with the seals. Its viscosity may not be what a manufacturer recommends based on system pressures, but using it to knock off the dust won't hurt anything.

I agree. I would use what the system called for to lube and decontaminate.
