Thanks for introducing me to the hydro core and providing great educational videos. Four minutes of mills is now one of my favorite ways to start my cooldown.

I agree with Naty, the start with your weak side concept is brilliant. I've been applying it. Still haven't bought a hydrocore but this video is making me consider it more.

This is one of the nicest movements to look at, and perform, I imagine, on top of really looking like it uses all muscles of the body. Still have to try it with any type of bag with handles. Thanks for the content!

I think the closest you´ll come back to that device is a Bulgarian bag.

Mark keeps it in the vernacular so there’s no confusion as to help even the beginner or novice even the intermediate a detailed understanding of each move.

That one looks like a fun flow. Will give that a try with my 12kg Bulgarian bag tomorrow!

Love the (reverse) mill with clubs. So far have been using my bulgarian bag for most your Hydrocore excercises, wich is working fine. The mill seems to be impossible unfortunately. It doesn't move quickly enough for such a change in direction

Do you use the longer cord grips? I can't get this going on the not nylon extension handles, but can with them.

This is one of my favorite things to do with the Hydrocore. That and the continuous circle. Though I have to make sure they aren't one after another when I do it 1 minute each. I started using engineering right hand rule for spin to determine which direction I go because I seem to forget as I'm doing it.

I just bought a hydrocore. How do you do sets etc. In Marks first video he talked about doing a movement for 10 mins. I can’t find any training videos of a full workout session with a hydrocore. Thanks 🙏

@@PeterBrown-sn2ds@PeterBrown-sn2ds I picked a set of movements and set a timer that goes off every minute for about 10 minutes and would do a workout each minute. If something was side specific I would do left side one minute and right side the next. Hope that makes sense.

Awesome stuff! How much overhead space is needed for the HydroCore (mace and clubs)? I can do KB snatches in my basement, but not sure if I need more ceiling height before buying the other equipment.

Hey Mark, how do you recommend adding this to your program? How many sets of this would you include in a workout? Thanks for these videos as always

This is a lot of fun. A little tricky to get going at first since you can't really do a technical version without slamming your back every time, but once you figure out how to move with the momentum it becomes a nice fluid movement.

What do you think of the kettlebell mill?
@MarkWildman
@MarkWildman 2 жыл бұрын
I think it’s possible but a lot of people are gonna who’s themselves in the head because of the large diameter of a kb. Smaller diameter of clubs makes it substantially safer to learn with a club

@@MarkWildman learned to mill with a club then hydrocore and mace. All from your channel, thank you. Saw the kettlebell version on some other channels, tried it but find it very difficult even with a light weight.
