Also, I just became able to use Super Reactions but only in one recently-created server that I'm in. The option doesn't show up in aaaany other servers I'm in except this one specific one that was created a day ago.

While I understand that Discord needs to make money, I am not a fan of how Discord locks most features behind Nitro including ones that _don't_ make sense. I can understand Boosting, larger uploads (over 25 MB or formerly 8 MB), and the ability to use emojis anywhere requiring Nitro, but I don't understand why using different avatars/profiles for servers (despite being allowed to use different names), the gradient themes (which is a client-side option by the way) and Super Reactions require Nitro. People may say Electronic Arts is greedy especially with The Sims 4, FreePlay, and Mobile, but Discord is probably as bad. At least EA (as far as I know) doesn't make you pay for features that the game already includes (except for F2P games with things like FreePlay's VIP system) unlike what Nintendo is doing with their games that have features locked behind Amiibos. By this point, I feel requiring Discord Nitro to use everything would become a meme like the infamous Bethesda account meme.

@@boppien Discord and DeviantArt may not be as greedy as EA, but they are the worse when it comes to paywalling features. DeviantArt is notorious for locking features behind a paywall even when it should be free (heck, they paywall some features that _other_ sites offer for free). I can understand things like uploading videos, larger sta sh storage, and DreamUp (also Protect even though its controversial) requiring Core for money reasons, but it doesn't make for things like Private Collections, 2FA, and monetization features (Subscriptions, Premium Downloads/Galleries, and Exclusives) to require Core. Likewise, the same is with Discord; some things I can understand to need Nitro, but I just don't get why the extra themes and app icons need Nitro even though they're cosmetic features that only apply to the user.
