People who use this foundation make sure your skin is properly hydrated (even better if it is a bit Damp) Hyaluronic acid is not a moisturizer or a hydrators, it is a humectant meaning that it attracts water so if you use it on dry skin and skin that has no water or the weather is too dry it will actually pulll water from deeper layers of your skin to bind it in outer layers making your skin look odd and can cause severe irritation. Remember Hyaluronic acid is a 6hr thing, it does not create lasting effects, your fine lines will come back and has nothing to do with Collagen or Elastin which are the properties proteins in skin. Alcohol here works as a penetration enhancers

I tried it by itself when it first came out (and before it went viral) and absolutely loved it. I'm 46 with mature skin, fine lines and dry patches due to tretinoin and this was absolute heaven on my skin. Didn't settle into my smile lines and forehead lines like other foundations do within minutes. It took hours before that happened! When I need this to go a bit longer, a bit "harder" for special occasions, I mix it in with another amazing L'Oreal foundation, the Infallible Fresh Wear 24HR Foundation. Perfection too on my dry mature skin.

@@summerdais325 I think you will like it! I'm not big on full coverage foundations so this is perfect. I do set the forehead and smile lines with a bit of powder fyi. Mixing it with a long wear foundation is my go to for long days or special events when I need a bit more long wear/medium-full coverage.

Im a big fan of serum foundations and this one did not disappoint. I live in Texas and wore this 3 times to gatherings on very hot summer days (99 degrees). It makes you GLOW in a way of enhancing your natural skin. It blends beautifully, it settles beautifully, and STAYS beautifully. I do use the Laura mercier powder in honey and milani long wear setting spray. I haven’t felt this good about a foundation in a long time. I actually think it’s worth the price tag. It looks stunning on you!

I was super impressed with this foundation. Everything looks super dry on me, but this gave good coverage and and wore well. Even with a mask, it didn't really rub off or look weird on the couple places it did compared to everywhere else. I also have a LOT of redness. It's even helping those pesky dark spots to lighten. Awesome foundation if you like lighter coverage.

This is the first serum foundation I didn’t find the need to set (except for my T zone) plus as time went on it actually sinks in and looks better. I use my fingers to apply and use concealer for little problem areas that are more difficult to cover. Very impressed with this product! ❤️

I use this, I've never noticed a scent. I love it and I switched from Tarte. I'm really happy with it, at 61 I have mature skin but it's very well taken care of. This is light, but it gives a nice even coverage with a nice glow. I would recommend.

I wear it alone as well as mixing it into other foundations. It has “saved” other foundations that I wasn’t thrilled with. I even bought a darker shade range to use to darken foundations that are too light.

Love this foundation .lt looks & feels so lightweight, like you're not even wearing foundation. It blends & lasts all day making skin very nice, not too matte, but not shiny. I am in my 60s with dry skin. I use very little Cold Pressed Rose Hip Seed Oil from the Ordinary. I think it's about $7 or $8. & is lightweight, not greasy. Great stuff, try it.

This serum/foundation lasts all day goes on evenly and nicely, not glooby You feel as though you havent anything on your face and it covers the skin well, looks dewy and evens tone. Sometimes I mix it with another product so it is slightly darker in spring and summer. I love it and will wear it from now on. It's a serum too so nourishes your skin. Would really recommend.

I absolutely love this one! My skin is combination/oily and this holds for hours and hours! On my skin before i have to powder, especially on those days i use a setting spray, when i want it to last even longer, i do use a beauty blender, simply because i hate using my fingers when it comes to anything foundation like, and also because i think it looks best that way. i'm getting married next weekend and this will definitely be the one i'm gonna be using.

Hi Milabu, love your videos! Helpful hint on acne that works for me. Use acne medicine of your choice followed with a tiny bit of Neosporin and it makes it heal and disappear quickly and reduces the inflammation almost immediately.

I bet that hyaluronic acid helped the pimple come to a head much easier, considering it absorbs moisture form the air as well as your skin, in order to protect it as best it can. I found it does the same thing to my own skin, when used as a "primer." As annoying as this might sound, it's super helpful IMO, and gets things out of the way much faster. :)

It is definitely not for sensitive, eczema prone skin like mine. Denatured alcohol is very high on the ingredient list. That would cause me a patchy flare-up. 😢

I just bought this a few days ago. Love the product, but not the dropper. You can't put it back in the bottle easily without making a mess on the neck of the bottle. Luckily, I had an old bottle of Cover Girl with a pump that fit perfectly. L'Oreal!! Please re-think that dropper.

This is beautiful on you. The shade range is strange. L’Oréal makes this in a pump and available in Canada and Europe. I ordered one bottle and it shipped from England, shade isn’t absolutely correct though as it was hard to chose shade via internet. Is it concerning that this has Alcohol Denat in it?

Honestly, the hyped products are ticking me off. That crappy powder foundation from loreal ticked me off. I looked like a zombie with it on (but surprisingly good on zoom with it tbh). But I still caved and bought this stuff a month back. It is now my every day foundation. 100%. I love this stuff. And I am picky and don't mind paying. I had the Tarte foundation as my MVP for a while then they reformulated. This is def the new best foundation.

I have both this and the Ilia Skin Tint and they are NOT similar at all. The L’Oreal tint is thinner than the Ilia Skin Tint, and it’s also drier in that it sets faster than the Ilia Skin Tint. It’s probably because of the alcohol in the product. It has more of a natural-matte finish, whereas the Ilia Skin Tint is super radiant. Of course, Ilia’s skin care properties are better, so it makes sense that is super dewey, but I prefer the L’Oreal Tint as a combo/oily girl. I use Ilia Skin Tint on my drier days, when my skin feels tight and flakey. Hope this helped!

Alot of alcohols are actually hydrating. I'm not an expert or anything, but it's chemistry lol. Classifying something as an "alcohol" is based on chemical makeup, rather than what the substance does. That's how I understand the research, but you or someone else might have a different interpretation.

For me, this felt heavier on my skin. If not heavy, I could FEEL makeup on my skin. It never felt like it settled, kind of remained sticky. I much prefer the Wet 'n' Wild tinted hydrator

Yeah, well, Hyaluronic acid is not a moisturizer, it is a humectant, so you have to apply a moisturizer and/or moisturizer sunscreen type like the one from Beauty of joseon and than apply the foundation if u wanna a moisturizer skin.

Two of those mixed together is $40. Instead of doing that, find a shade of Armani Luminous Silk or another of their far superior foundations with a wide range of shades in person. Then order online when they have their 30% off sales which are a couple times a year. New shoppers also get an extra discount (I think 15%).

She always mixes shades of her products, and that includes blush, foundation, eyeshadow, lips...I've even seen her add blush to lipstick for dimensional affect lol. She once said in a video a long time ago that she's been mixing "custom shades" on the back of her hand since a very young age...that's the beauty of makeup, creating what you want ☺
