This L’Oréal Nude True Match Serum Foundation is my new holy grail. I don’t need a full coverage foundation and I feel this also has amazing buildable coverage. I’m 53 and this doesn’t settle into my pores or wrinkles… and lasts all day.

I've been using the L'Oreal foundation for the past 3 days and I love it. I'm 53 and it's real thin it just makes my skin look super healthy and not wrinkly. This is probably the prettiest foundation I've put on ever.

I am glad to know that I am not the only one who does not like the Lash Princess. I am good with the back ground noises, it just makes it real (love seeing the dogs). Glad future Angie came back to give more info about the foundation, I was going to buy it but I am a dry skinned person and so I think I will steer clear from it since there are so many others that will work for my skin.

I just bought this make up today and tried it on the store and got the medium light 5-2 shade. It glides on so smoothly. Even on skin that hasn't been moisturized. I'm 69 years old and I look 10 years younger than all my friends And I mostly hang out with people that are 10 years younger than myself. I want to keep up with staying young so I spent $47 on the bare minerals face make up and it really is beautiful but I just can't bear the thought of spending $47 on make up. So I've been testing various different drugstore make ups and I tried the ELF, it's nice but it's a little too drying for my skin. When I saw the hyaluronic acid on the true match L'Oreal makeup, decided I found the perfect color and I took it home and I am happy with it. I'm not worried about trying this because I use face oil underneath. I have a whole regiment of cleanser, toner, moisturizer, and face oil. You can also use, a face balm by Burt's Bees. The foundation glides on very smoothly and the shade is perfect. Now I can return the bare minerals and get a refund. I'd rather spend $18 than $47 as long as I am getting the same results.

Alcohol or fragrance in makeup products is a dealbreaker for me because I have dry, sensitive skin. So I look very carefully at ingredients. And a shout out to your cute dog!

After seeing your review, I had to run out and get the L'Oreal True Match Nude. I went to 5 stores -Target, Walmart, 2 CVSs, and finally found it at Walgreens. It cost more than I was expecting for a drugstore foundation, but when I dashed home and tried it, I fell in love. Never have I tried such a great drugstore foundation. Skin-like, natural looking and a great color match for me (2-3 Light). Thanks so much for your great product review.

Shari- I had the opposite experience with the elf camo. Very drying, and didn’t offer enough coverage for me. I’ve ordered the Lancôme, so I’m interested to see how it measures up on my dry under eyes. I find it so interesting how the same products can work so differently on people.

Seems L'Oreal came out with a couple new different True Match foundations. In Canada the new True Match foundation is an alcohol free 'super blendable' foundation with hyaluronic acid (vs tinted serum) and comes in a pump bottle identical to the Fresh Wear foundation (except the top and lid are silver and clear vs black and red).

It could be bc of animal testing regulations. Some countries allow it, others don’t. China requires it 🙀 So while you may buy a product that’s not tested here, it might be selling in China where animal testing is required. Such as IT cosmetics, now owned by Estee Lauder, which sells the product in China, and does do animal testing. This is the case with any cosmetics you buy in us that also sells in china which claims no animal testing Please correct me if I’m wrong, but that is my understanding. Do we really need to subject our animals to this horrific abuse for our own vanity? We need to demand companies stop this.

There is L’Oréal true match and true match nude and it contains a lot of alcohol....very drying! Not for dry skin or sensitive skin!

That L'Oreal foundation actually applies best using just your fingers. I think that's even what L'Oreal recommends. I've been using it for a few weeks now and I love it.

Why not ask before assuming?. It could be the 1 ring light plus 2 studio lights that smooth everything out. Have you ever filmed under that much light? It washes everything out. I agree its not realistic lighting though.

I love Loreal foundations. I will be trying the new one out, great for warmer days. I use the NYX butter gloss and really like it. The color is more staying than the Ulta lip butter.

If you ever do decide to get a loose powder, don't completely remove the sticker that covers the holes in the sifter. Lift the sticker to expose some of the holes, and cut it off at that point. Leave the rest covered. This way you only get a small amount of powder in the lid when you tip it upside down.

Oh my gosh, thank you for the "future Angie" disclaimer! I was almost ready to buy it when I heard your comment, I have super dry skin, so I don't think I would have been happy with it. Just watching this.. I'm 53 with dry skin, sometimes normal and am IN LOVE with the L'Oreal serum. It works great as long as my skincare is right. I also prefer to apply it with my fingers. A holy grail for sure and I only have one other holy grail with Mac Face and Body. A couple of recommendations: try the brows by doing the glue first, then the pen. And I just tried the primer called Birthday Skin from Shein's makeup line called SheGlam. It is amazing (at least on me). It's only $6. The ELF putty never did a thing for me. Like you, primers didn't make a difference with my pore, but there is something about this magic combo of the primer and serum that is the chef's kiss for me. Love your stuff. xo

the Elf primer and the Loreal serum are exactly what I used today too! I put the tint on with my hands, it looks great and I'm happy not to have to wash a sponge aka makeup dishes lol
