A bit sad, the series deserves better, and I hope this doesn't become a trend again for Western distributors (NoA and Sony). Maybe IF can focus on breaking into the PC market again or appeal NoA's decision, but having part of your revenue being the victim of volatile guidelines must suck big time. I love dunking on them, but here, I feel just a little sad for IFI (not IF, mind you).

@@R3DGaming I’m personally disappointed. I was looking forward to playing the Rebirth games on the switch. As someone that never played those games, sure I get that they’re Available on PC, that’s not really the point. The fact that for the most part, the switch hasn’t had many Neptunia games besides the few spin offs and like what 1 or 2 mainline entries in its library, it just sucks to not get to play the rebirth games on switch. And here’s where my biggest disappointment lies, CH/IF took WAYYYYYY too long to announce the rebirth games to come to switch, these games should’ve been ported after they had released Super Neptunia RPG, it’s abysmal how long it took…. Meanwhile Publishers like Koei Tecmo/Gust has been releasing Atelier DX collections of games over the years, We had Inti created & PQUBE rerelease all of their Gal*Gun games on switch. Portcom(Capcom) rereleasing several Resi games to switch and ace attorney games along with mega man games and whatnot. I get it, IF/CH isn’t that big of a studio compared to the likes of Capcom, Bandai or what have you,,,, but IMO this doesn’t leave me any less disappointed in IF/CH sluggish efforts…They had 5-7 years to get the rebirth games on switch. Smh.

If you have a PC built or bought in the last 8 years it should be able to play any Neptunia Game. Just either plug in a Controller you don't use to you're PC or buy a wired Xbox Controller. Steam Deck is Great, I have one, but while yes the Rebirth Series Works out of the Box with it. Megadimension requires a bit of Software Tinkering(GE-PROTON8-25 and Forward to get it Working.) Also half the Nep Spinoff games are the Same way requiring a bit of Tinkering. Specifically the ones running the Same Engine as VIIR.

While I am extremely disappointed about Re;Birth getting canned because I never played those games as I never owned a Vita and I was waiting half a freaking year for them since May, the fact that I am legit forced to use Steam instead for them is really dumb because I am a console gamer and I only go to Steam if I literally have no choice. As for Code Z because I was originally going to get the Switch version and that my GameStop doesn't have a PS4 version in their system, I might have to either get it digitally from the PS Store or hopefully find a physical PS4 version that has it listed in their store.

The only reasonable explanation I've seen was that it runs too poorly. Every week multiple ai "hentai" slop (with nudity) get added to the Nintendo eshop. If mature content is the reason that the re:birth trilogy doesn't meet Nintendo guidelines, then Nintendo is blatantly playing favorites

Makes no sense cuz we already have neptunia titles on switch. And death end request 1 and 2 and nier automata and azure nights 1 and 2 and ryza trilogy and omega labyrinth and fairy fencer and shining resonance and mary skelter series and probably way more that i missed. We're going backwards. There are also hentai games on the e shop like you said. Makes. No. Sense. Also, we have xenoblade series. They have babes and i think you can dress them more ecchi i think on the first xenoblade. Those are allowed. Maybe you're right. Maybe it is an IF issue. Who knows?

Even the bandages scene might be too much for Nintendo or they just need to rate m for mature, but ifi doesn't seem to want to publish an m for mature game. Their games are not made for teens under 13. So, why is m for mature a problem?

I've already started to lose interest in Nintendo due to their war on emulation, but now I wouldn't mind if they go bankrupt. Also, it would be nice if IFI started releasing their games on PC again (Windows Store don't count), and until then I won't be buying anymore of their titles.

Honestly im not that shocked for Code Z getting cancelled cause once i saw the Z rating in japan i just knew it was going to get the AO age rating and nintendo did not any of that, plus some of the specific scenes by triggering the conditions for the Death End reinforces my statement As for the Nep Trilogy yeah they deserved to be roasted for that one

@@R3DGaming Yeah because when it comes to the Adult Only Rating, the consoles made by Nintendo, Microsoft and Sony would never use that rating as they pretty much banned that rating on their hardware. Only the games made for PC will allow that rating while the Big 3 would never allow it to pass.

either they re-rate it, or don't relese it on the nintendo switch, or release a asain english patch and don't localize it; as people won't buy if it gets censored. if it does get censored on the nintendo platform, the majority won't buy it unless its on PC which usually doesn't get censored (unless pressured by sony of america and/or australlia, due to the sony companies that don''t tolerate non-exclusive media teen, mature, or adult games to be released uncensored even if the official esrb board accepts the content with its rating. if it is exclusive to the sony platform regardless of the content, sony won't care unless the actual official esrb board has issue with it.
