@theylivewesee1674

pretty much all pulling movement make your forearm bigger but you better not use straps to much, so exercise like deadlift, back rows, pull ups, bicep curls and farmer walks
@gracefool
@gracefool 6 жыл бұрын
They Live We See I'm not looking for exercises, just interested in volume expectations. Obviously all variations of grip and wrist work are good, and yes overall MEV will be zero for people doing a lot of pulling - *but* gripping a bar is only going to grow *some* of your ~20 forearm muscles.

During mesocycles,do you recommend going every last set of a given exercise to failure and the previous sets with 1-2 reps in the tank OR finishing every set with 1-2 away from failure?
@RedfishCarolina
@RedfishCarolina 2 жыл бұрын
On isolations like this I take every set to failure. After doing presses to failure, also. Just beware fully locking out any tricep extensions, you can get elbow tendon pain from full hard lockout.
@justanerdwholiftweights4061
@justanerdwholiftweights4061 2 жыл бұрын
@@RedfishCarolina not if the weight is appropriate. Been doing full lockout for like 3 years now and I don't have any pain . Doesn't mean it's the same for everyone tho

About that with periodization of mesocycles. Do u think for novices/indermidate its necessary to do 2 mesocycles with moderate volume then 1 cycle with high then 1 woth low volume as u said, or u think its okay to do moderate all the time with variation in the cycles?
