Typically in videos like this they will do a full induction setting a few post hypnotic suggestions before the cameras are rolling. This assures they will get a good response to a rapid induction. In all honesty, the most that could do is prevent you from being able to consciously remember. You can't "erase" a memory. The emotions would still be there in the background, you just wouldn't know exactly why. I'm sorry that you've gone through whatever it is, but hypnosis isn't magic, and used irresponsibly I have every reason to believe it could do more harm than good. If you're interested, I would recommend trying to find a hypnotherapist instead. They may be able to help you work through your issues, and help reframe what happened so you don't have such strong emotions tied to the events. Honestly, that's something I'm curious about too. Maybe some day I'll look more into that possibility myself.
