yea actually trans ppl dont owe u anything. especially nonbinary ppl, transitioning is an individuals choice and each trans persons journey is different. but again, especially nonbinary ppl have zero obligation to transition as it’s especially difficult to transition to be....non gendered. most non binary ppl (but not all) jus use they/them pronouns n present gender non confirmingly. some r more masc or fem tho and transition or use pronouns that adhere to that. all in all, mind ur business

Speaking of being meditative and taking time when doing your skin care, I’ve found that taking time when applying my body lotion, and being gentle with the parts of my body that I’ve hated for most of my life, (gently massaging my tummy and thighs) has made me more respectful and appreciative and improved my relationship with my body, so defo recommend 💛

That's so sweet. I used to pick a lot and hated my acne and my skin for having it. Now I'm older, not many pimples, and I am treating my skin well and respecting it. When I touch my face, it's with the back of my fingers, to feel how soft and smooth it is. Even when I am rubbing rich cream into my hooves, I am thinking nice thoughts about how useful my feet are, instead of criticizing them. It's nice to make it meditative and self-loving.

That’s amazing that you made the switch. But I just want to say make you you do your own research as well. Especially for the specific needs of your skin, which includes type, condition and even your skin color. In my experience I wish I did more research for the aha bh exfoliation mask from the ordinary, I listened to hyram and a few other people, but didn’t consider how it would effect my skin because I have more melanin. So the scars are darker/deeper and the mask in the long run could cause damage. I’m paraphrasing but still, just make sure you a lot of research from different sources.

I wholly agree with you. It's interesting, I actually prefer he/him *and* they/them pronouns and I still mess up when referring to myself and others with they/them pronouns. I think the difficulty is that as a society we're only just starting to normalize saying those pronouns purposefully and so sometimes it's hard to remember, especially if someone really presents as masculine or feminine or if you've known the person for a long time or if you don't see them often enough to have good opportunities to practice. I personally try to have a grace period for those who are willing to make an effort to change that mindset. Of course, I refuse to tolerate it eventually, but I understand that it really can be difficult at first and believe that it may take time before it comes naturally.

Put translucent powder over your skin care. Hyram actually mentioned in a previous video he does this as it make he look not shiny and not oily.

The Simple Refreshing Gel wash feels almost exactly the same as the old micellar one! I've been using it on and off for at least 15 years, so it's unlikely to get discontinued! It has almost the same ingredients and no citric acid. (at least it does here in the UK). It's also cheaper! ❤️

Interesting, I live in the UK too and the micellar one has basically disappeared from every boots and supermarket near me! i think they might be slowly fazing it out here too. I use their refreshing gel wash it has the same ingredients!

@@Gigglypeach I think Tesco and Sainsbury’s have it in stock online if you need it! I visited Boots last week and they had a shelf full of them for half price. I grabbed a couple but maybe I should go back and get some more 😱 I also use the refreshing one but I always feel as though the micellar gel leaves my skin cleaner - not sure if that’s in my head or not!

Omg, I had no clue the Simple Micellar gel wash was discontinued. That’s my regular face wash and I was wondering why every store I went too didn’t have it, so I had to settle for something else. I’m so sad, I didn’t realize a face wash could hurt me this bad 😥

I’m going to be 35 in October and I’ve learned to be so much gentler on my skin even when I’m washing my face, if I do wear foundation I only apply a pea size amount as I learned heavier makeup can age more mature skin and isn’t as flattering as when I was in my early 20s. I love your channel and advice as well as other you tubers I follow such as Dr.dray who’s tips and advice have encouraged me to never skip the spf, be consistent but gentle with my skin ❤️

@@muhammadzikri8492 your argument holds no weight... it was perfectly in their control because it is a legality in order to sell in that region and they chose to do so. If companies don’t stand their ground then it will continue. My morality should be yours too... if you haven’t seen what the testing on animals can involve and why it absolutely concretely never has to happen then I implore you to do some research. It is hideous what those beautiful creatures are subjected too for no other reason than ignorance. All of us have an opportunity to do better and I am by no means perfect. A majority of the world has found a way to test products without the use of animal testing because of an improvement in science over the past 40 years and the only reason to do so in cosmeceuticals is 1. A lack of care 2. Expense (ultimately it’s cheaper to change but initial outlay is likely to be expensive) and 3. Lack of community support for alternatives.

love the skin ceuticals simply clean cleanser!! we used that product line and epionce in esthetics school but i always liked SC better in school. i’ve been a licensed estie for two years now and i love the information you put out! i also realized the la roche posay purifying cleanser is pretty similar to the SC simply clean for a fraction of the cost :-)
