Hyundai Elantra - Code P0441 - Replace EVAP purge valve (Cleaning did not fix it!)

This could be due to the Purge Valve Solenoid, with age losing Resistance values, and the Purge Valve, function is not 100% efficiency, thereby affecting fuel/air ratio. It could also be a circuit issue, broken wire, or other issues

Thank you for your comment. As I mentioned in the video description, I tried cleaning the purge valve first, but the code P0441 came back after about 40 miles of driving. Replacing the purge valve took care of the problem.

The connector you take the hose of at 00:56 broke in half on me. Any idea what that's called??

Sorry to hear that! I looked up the part number of the piece that it is connected to (35150-23700) . It is called Idle Speed Actuator (or Fuel Injection Idle Air Control Valve). But, I couldn't find the connector sold separately. I found this on Amazon that sells the valve and connector wire together as a kit, but the shape of the connector looks different. It was difficult to start the car after filling the tank. Replacing the purge valve fixed it.

I just replaced the Purge Valve for a 2010 Elantra. I vlogged about the simplicity of the removal and installation as well. Just like sfad62 said below, It was difficult to start the car after filling the tank. Replacing the purge valve fixed it. Thanks sfad62!

I'm so confused I had one code and one only which was p0445 I had a smoke test done changed the fuel filler neck now I'm getting p0441

Sorry to hear that. I am not a pro, and this fixed it for me. The code has not come back after a few months. Did you test the old valve to see if it was actually not functioning properly? Based on info on the internet the next suspect might be a bad vacuum line.

@@sepehrfadaei7564 thanks for your suggestion! Unfortunately I also replaced the vent valve by the charcoal canister... Now p0441 went away but new code came in p0451. I think like your said, there must be a leak in the valve line, or in the fuel tank or gas neck.
