I'm torn. I have a 2011 Elantra. I bought it because I loved the styling over the Sonata. My car is coming up on 10 years and I was thinking about the Sonata. But again, I think the style and interior of the elantra is better than the Sonata. I'll test drive them later this year. Then again, I've had my eye on a crossover lol.

As a Korean, we don’t need spare tires. When ever and where ever I has platted tire, I just call or use app for insurance service. It takes less than a hour - most of the time, less then 20 minutes - and cost less.

That mostly works fast in Korea because it's a small country and your services (like delivery) tend to be fast. But in bigger countries with a lot more open road and country side it's preferable to have a spare rather than wait hours for service lol.

@@jamesgand828 yeah the Corolla only comes in the base trim because they didn't know if people would buy it. If sales do you well and the new Elantra hybrid comes in more options then I'm sure Toyota will change that quickly.

@@ethanmckibbin No, not the base trim. The Corolla hybrid comes in the LE trim which is one trim above the base L trim. Plus the Corolla hybrid has additional features like smart key entry, push button start, upgraded 7 inch driver's display, and upgraded triple J LED headlights. It also has upgraded alloy wheels. Think of it as the regular Corolla LE with the premium package.

I have 2008 Elantra with over 200k miles on it as my beater. It's a great appliance of a car. I never have to worry about dings. Never have to worry about washing her. Missed oil change? No sweat, because she'll be fine. Don't even care if somebody rear ends me. It's a perfect car to save money. She just won't die on me, so I decided to keep her forever.

However after I saw this new design, I had high blood pressure and severe stress because I should had waited for this beauty. Hyundai really did incredible job with this design. I like it very much. Will definitely check it out when it arrives at dealerships here in southern California. I still love my 17 Elantra I bought new in june of 16. Just turned 66.000 miles, still looks like new, I take very good care of it. Absolutely no problems , issues or repairs . Totally happy with it. If I was to get the new one. I would definitely keep my 17, to nice and good looking to let it go!! And I've become attached to it Lol.

We joined the Hyundai family yesterday! We nearly settled on the 2022 Elantra N Line. We compared that with an SEL but with price and safety features, we went with the SEL w/ Premium package. It was less $, had more cool tech and was a better fit with kids. I definitely loved that color (Anvil) on the N Line! When it's time for to upgrade, maybe we will look at the N instead of the N Line when it is released! Thanks To Charlie and the channel for providing the information. I am going back and rewatching videos to use BlueLink, etc.

This new model of Elantra seems pretty interesting and alot better than its predecessor when it comes to looks. A notably refinement of the front facia-headlight and grill including the tail lights that give its model a total bold appearance. Once again, a nice and very interesting cover. Cheers!

One of the best exterior I've seen so far. Looks sporty, but when you go inside the first thing you will see is the grandma steering wheel that suppose to be the pride of the car and somehow they manage to put an ugly looking/styling steering wheel (half bottom). it looks Ancient, first time making steering wheel and doesn't look good at all. They should put the Elantra GT NLine steering wheel here and it will looks gorgeous.

@@LMaiWRX It has the Blind-Spot Warning, but it doesn't have the Blind View Monitor camera system for the gauge cluster, like the Sonata, Palisade and Santa Fe have. It's a small enough car that I don't think it needs more than the blind spot sensors.

It looks like they will be selling it on the Romanian market as well, 1.6 non-turbo apearead on their site. Haven't confirmed it with a dealer yet though. It's priced around a ~50.000-80.000km SH Passat so I hope it sells well.

By omitting the blind spot view Hyundai missed an opportunity to demonstrate that even a low class car as the Elantra has a feature you simply can't get even on luxury cars. BTW, in my opinion the blind spot view feature is a top safety feature and it should be in any vehicle.

Which would you rather have the all-new 2021 Elantra or the recently redesigned 2020 Toyota Corolla? The new generation Corolla is fantastic. I extensively test drove the Corolla SE sedan (US) which comes with 18" tires and a sport tuned suspension and it was excellent. Very solid and refined. I was expecting a stiffer ride with the bigger tires and sport suspension but the ride quality was first class. It also has the 2.0 169hp D-4S engine with the Direct-Shift CVT with a physical first (launch) gear. Toyota also sells a lesser trim level Corolla LE which comes with a less powerful 1.8 engine with 139hp and a regular CVT.

@@AsianPetrolhead Hey No problem, I hope you are keeping safe during this covid pandemic. I wanted to let you know, I leased the 2020 Elantra, due to the fact in Canada, it's the best bang for your buck compared to the other compact cars. My other fav's were the Forte (no power, tuned differently compared to the Elantra). Civic (handles the best, but to expensive, does not have all the features I wanted). Mazda 3 ( to small and the most expensive). I wasn't to crazy about the looks of the 2020 Elantra off the start, but the looks have grown on me especially the polar white with dark tinted windows and the led DRL lights..looks sweet! Watching your reviews on the 2021 Elantra, I kinda like that one better, maybe I will change it up later this year. I also like 2021 Kia Optima, (looks sweet!) it's a hard decision. Interior looks great. Definitely upscale and modern. However, exterior design wise I personally liked the previous generation's design BEFORE the facelift. My 2017 Elantra Sport looked much better from the outside than this new one. I think, Hyundai still retained many of those triangular shapes from the last generation facelifted Elantra. To my eyes this new design looks way too polarizing and busy. I just don't think that it will age well. I think design wise KIA is doing much better than Hyundai lately. For some reason Hyundai's current designs are going downhill. First it was that split headlight design, now this angular, sharp lines and not to mention CVT. I don't think we will buy another Hyundai from here on out until their designs become more conservative. When time comes to upgrade our Santa Fe XL, we will be looking at KIA Telluride or other Japanese models, but definitely not Palisade. Thanks for the video Charlie. Keep up the great work!

Charlie - I test drove the all-new 2020 Hyundai Sonata (SEL trim) today and I loved it! A really fantastic car! Extremely solid! Drove as well as a Lexus ES350 for half the price. In your estimation does the all-new 2021 Elantra have the same solid feel to it that the 2020 Sonata has? Thank you
