How too adjust Hyundai i10 mk1 2009 handbrake

The reason why that seesaw bracket is sitting to one side is because the right hand side cable is stretched. The left side caliper will lock more than the right side. New handbrake cable will bring that back to normal and sit even

No need to remove the console completely. Access to nut can be gained by lifting console up a couple of inches. Thanks for the vid.

thats what i do,lift it up at the back,then adjust with a long 12ml socket and extension

Though it's a good way to clean the console while it's off two birds one stone

if you both weren't sitting on the seats,the console lifts up past the seats easier,you sitting on the seats flatens down and pushes the seat edges towards each other,narrowing the gap the console has to get out,good video though mate,thanks for the warning about air bag control panel
