Here is a fast and easy little demonstration on how to change out your weak / dying battery in your Hyundai key fob. You will need your new 2032 battery as well as a slot head screwdriver. Pull out the emergency key and place the screwdriver in the slot as I've shown. The case is pretty weak so don't get overly aggressive. Hope you found this video helpful!

thank you for both your videos on this key fob. My key for my Veloster 2020 was different from both of these, but with a lot of patience and persistence I was able to open the key. It got a little messed up but not too bad. Just thankful that I was able to open it and replace the battery.

@@KeyFobRob I managed to get the facade with the Hyundai symbol off and then realized there’s actually another layer where the battery and circuit board are housed. I had to pry open that part as well. The battery slot was actually opposite of the circuit board. Also the area that is exposed when you remove the metal key had a bunch of different little slots. Lol it’s a bit complicated to explain if I could post a photo I would. But I hope that gives you the idea. Your videos were very helpful regardless of those small differences. Thank you

You can press the fob upto the start stop button if its completely dead and it should start up for you
