Hello all, thanks for watching my video.
I was experience starting problems with my 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe V6 (SM). The car would start and then stall instantly. I decided to chase the problem starting with the in-tank fuel filter.
I made a big mistake and missed the fact that the new fuel filter did not come with the O rings required to seal the pump outlet. I've tried to highlight this in the video, don't make the same mistake as me!

Your tips were very useful for me. I have the same Santafe 2005. It had a similar problem. 99% of the time it takes two cranking tries to start. Any scanner couldn't find the issue. I had to visit two garages to solve the problem and not succeeded. But finally, after watching this video I focused on the fuel pump. I removed and disassembled it. I saw the damage to the O ring at the fuel suction/ none return/ check valve line. I replaced the new O ring and I solved the problem. Because of this problem, I was suffering for 10 months of time. Thanks again and again for your ideas.

It hasn't made many appearances as it nomrally works fine. However this fuel problem left me scratching my head for a few weeks so I thought that it deserved a video

@@BlakesDen thanks for replying. Did your new pump make the normal humming noise before you did the orings? I literally changed the pump an hour ago and the pump makes no humming like the old one did when it was working.

Yes it made the humming sound. Sounds like something is wrong. You can energise the fuel pump from with the engine bay fuse box and see if that works

Mine has been not starting and it has problem of power and it is consuming a lot, May please assist me how to get spare parts of HUNDAI SANTA FE GOLD 2002 and I buy online? Garage told me what it's needed but they don't have them like canister & Throttly body, injector, staff like that?
