In this video I show the step by step process for replacement of the front suspension upper control arms and lower ball joints on a Hyundai Sonata vehicle. The subject vehicle is a 2008 however this video should cover 2005-2010 Sonata, Azera and Kia Amanti models as well. This video may also help show important steps for replacing other front suspension components such as the strut assemblies, etc. Watch this video for more information.

thanks for the VID and comedy phone call but question : at 8.29 what is diameter /size of axle nut ?...also diagnosis is important , so how did you determine the strut was good ( for you re-used it ) yet the upper control arm was "bad " ..also the lower control arm , would you not just buy a new lower assembly ?

Why is it that the vehicles up there look nothing like the ones here in upstate ny as far as rust goes. Most vehicles u work on come apart relatively easily compared to what i deal with here in ny. Do they not use salt there Tim? Im nust curious cause i thought u guys had alot of snow like us. Most vehicles u tear apart are relativly clean as far as rust. Yes, that generation in N. America is 2006-2010, so he was off by one year. Do you expect him to memorize every little thing about all years of generations of cars in existence? He even said he "thinks" it includes 2005, so he wasn't saying it was the perfect fact. Cut him some slack because the video is very informative.
